M.I.A. is very creative (I have most of her albums) but some of her lyrics are just dreadful and can spoil entire tracks. Santigold is a far better lyricist, in my opinion. Still, the stuff that Santi and M.I.A. have done together is great.

On February 26 I can finally listen to a NEW Santigold album in loops!
Listened to her other two albums so many times even the digital files are worn out!
This is still one of the most unique songs I've ever heard. Considering all the syllables & voice inflections.. but still remaining coherent in the lyrical content, all while remaining completely on beat with every snare. And the video just adds to that. The gangster ass head nods in the 2nd verse. Completely underappreciated in every aspect.

Production is very close to This Mortal Coil's fist ground breaking album Lonely As an Eyesore with the calipso that was written into, but taken off of Blondie's Heart of Glass to entice an Andy Warhol audience and sell NEW emerging electronic keyboards.
