I do it exactly like this. I noticed the stronger and faster you do the push up and bum on the chair the easier and more stable it is do it (at least for me with no core control either).
Yep I agree entirely, getting the bum back on the chair is the main hurdle, and then you can correct any slight imbalances after by 'climbing up' your legs with your hands.
@@Queenmania2007 Hello Daniel Gordon, how are you doing today 😊😊? Glad to see you on your RUclips video channel by practising yourself doing your wheelchair transfers onto your floor and also practising by getting yourself backup onto your wheelchair 😊😊. You are a strong man Daniel and also glad you did it😊😊. I am so happy and super proud of you😊😊. It was nice meeting you 😊😊. God bless you Daniel😊😊. Take care Daniel😊😊. funny enugh I can get back up no problem but I cannot transfer from my wheelchair to the floor simply because I can't reach :) I also have some leg funcion left, so when I put my feet on the floor my brain is like "oh, you are getting up" . That's definitely a struggle!! For reference: my lesion is l4 s1 due to a medical condition, so I feel like what works for someone with a SCI not necessarily works for someone with mobility issues due to medical conditions

@@KaranveerSinghGaming If you mean pressure sores, then yes. I have no sensation from my chest down so pressure sores are always a risk. I've had some that have confined me to bed for months. They are very difficult to deal with. Perhaps I'll make a video on things you can do to avoid them/deal with them once they have happened.

Do you remain sensation and strength below your injured line? Can you move legs a bit?
None whatsoever. From just below nipples no sensation or movement. Spasms every day in legs though

Do you need shoes to do this?
Not necessarily, but I do find it much more tricky with socks. If you have socks with grippy bits on the bottom it can achieve the same effect.
Do you have IG?

Sure, what about?
