As a Rennie, I'll be doing Revivebur for our Halloween. (Cosplay is also a huge faire thing.) Honestly, I've never seen anyone get hate at the Ren Faire for wearing and liking things. (Also, I recognize some faces😅 so hello friends!)
Also lore is very common, my home faire is Henry the 8th and his wives (we go through all six) It's basically a huuuge roleplay game, that's what faire is. But at the same time, it's my found family. I hope you enjoyed your time!
Edit- Seriously, I'm so glad you wanna go back! If you're ever in the area, MDRF is the place to be! (Also known as Revel Grove) That's my home faire and between all the one's I've been to, it has the most to offer, is well established in the community and everyone there is always welcoming to new faces! I think you would enjoy it a ton!

At my local Ren Faire, I went as a DSMP cosplay. It was so cool that I kept being recognized for my cosplay. I even made some pretty close friends that I still talk to this day. We are actually planning on doing a group cosplay with more DSMP characters.
Aww, I really want that to do that. Unfortunatly we don't really have those where I live.
It doesn't matter how cringe this might be, them having fun is all that matters

It's definitely a really fun time! My old choir teacher too all of my class to one for a field trip! There are so many cool things to get there
something about two nickels for everytime I've heard someone say "we're gonna be late for the joust!" in a renfaire-vlog...Loved the video and your medieval spin on your dream costume! Also yeah, cosplaying at renfaires is pretty common, everyone's there to just have fun after all ^^

This looks like the same renaissance fair which nightcove cosplayed as glitchtrap at. Seeing how many cosplayers were there, I guess it's likely.

I’ve gone as Techno twice to ren faire and I never had any negative interactions surprisingly- and on one of the days there were actually quite a few other dsmp cosplayers and it was really fun! I might do Ranboo this year, or just Techno again- idk lol maybe even my DnD character once we start our campaign
I was watching videos of one of the days I was there (to see if I could find me ofc lol) and there was a Wilbur there and I never saw them 😭 the ones I did see were other Technos, Phils, and a dream team along with another George
As a Rennie Blacksmith and vendor in Ohio I can confirm that all manner of cosplay is not only accepted, but encouraged! Mash ups are great and adding a Medieval spin on anything is just fun. You get to be anything you want to be! It was also great to see so many familiar faces in your video, especially in my off season as we don't start our events in Ohio until June. Thank you for posting and I wish you all "Health to the Company". Huzzah!
I had went to the renaissance fair in September and I had saw a Kinko kingdom Karl and a mushroom George cosplayer, I so wanted to go over to them but I was with my family

I went to a Renaissance Fair last year and there was a Ranboo. I embarrassed myself by yelling Mr. Boo across the huge crowd at the food court. It was worth it tho and i got a thumbs up from him

I went to a Ren faire in NC, there was 3 techno’s they all were awesome tho. OH AND a dream. 1 furry and some people as toh characters. Ren faire’s are always interesting.
Shoutout to the Philza Minecraft and Ghostbur cosplayers I met at a Ren fair last year who were giving out friendship emeralds. Truly one of the best experiences I've ever had at a Ren fair. If you're out there- yes, I still have the emerald, that thing is precious to me ;-;
I remember me and my mom going to a renaissance fair and my mom buying me a bottle of ender dragon blood.
That bottle sadly broke one day when I dropped it, still have it in a zip lock baggie.
First time viewer here and just want to say thank you thank you for shouting out the cast working the faire! I worked at a faire for a few years as do my friends and everyone puts in an insane amount of effort to extensively develop/research their characters so our guests can have the most fun and immersive experience possible! Lots of lore to learn and live but helping others feel they’re in a whole world is the best feeling ever

I love renaissance fairs and go every year here in Texas. There are some people who go all out and are super into it with the Renaissance theme, some people who come in odd costumes that don’t fit the theme, and some people who don’t dress up.
This inspired me to make a Techno cosplay
It took me around 3 hours :')
I cosplayed techno and went to the ren fair and it was rly fun (I even got recognized ab 4 times ^^, once my one of the actors :D)

There's 2 near me I always go to. Usually as a pirate or a rogue, but I'm hoping to go for a gypsy this coming year
Last Faire I went to, I basically just joined the actors, as weird as that sounds?? I accidently got a private audience with a queen, thank the wenches, and my group was tasked with bringing down the big bad guy. Which, that whole thing was really fun

I went to the Renaissance fair the other day as a pirate (according to my friend it looked more like a magical witch and a pirate fused but I'll take it lol) it was really fun but it was definitely a mistake wearing heels and walking on rocks for 4 hours qwq

I think i made some teens day when I recognized them as Philza and Technoblade at a renfair near me. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD. Seeing all the performers I recognize from this renfair just gets me hyped up for the one close to me here in September. For anyone who's never been to a renfair i highly recommend going, I can assure you, we are all wierdos here.

I went to a renaidsasance fair a few monthes ago and saw someone dressed as Technoblade.
I wanted to walk up to them and say something like "Thank you", but I hesitated too much and I lost them.

At the renaissance fair where I live (Florida) when the jousting was kinda over the two guys started fighting with their shields and random objects near them including their armor

People dress up as LOTR characters and even Disney princesses to renfaires, so this is really cool to see! You look amazing!

I have a bottle of blue around my neck for good luck! I also use it for my ghostbur cosplay sometimes... Also, love the cosplay! It looks better than I could ever make it. And the fact you go out into public with friends makes that even better
