We have (3) Girls and My Husband was also a Police Officer so you can imagine how frightened the guys were coming to meet us. He was very low spoken like Low. Bringing someone to another country with language and cultural barriers will put a lot of strain on a relationship. Kalani should have known what she was getting when she met Asuelu. I do feel for Asuela he’s been laughed at and made a joke of on this show by her and her family and also the other couples on the ‘pillow’ talk. He’s had to adapt to an entirely different kind of life and if any of you have ever lived in the islands and know the culture then you would totally understand his mindset. He’s right when he says American women live a pampered lifestyle, they wouldn’t last 5 mins in the islands where it really is hard work ...no washing machines, no dishwashers, no vacuum cleaners and water doesn’t always pour from a tap. She knew all that when she met him and then took him to the States hoping to change him, it’s little wonder they’ve had so many problems, I’m surprised they’re still together. I hope it works out for them for the sake of their young family but seriously she needs to grow up, she comes across as a whining self-serving woman who hasn’t cut the apron strings from her parents.
