6:03 Actually, your talk of triangles had me looking for a magic meter. There’s one on the fairy. The triangles behind it show how much magic you have left.
I'm not following the news regarding this game, I'll just discover it when I play. But the bind ability definitely took me by surprise, this is so powerful. Maybe even more than your abilities in TotK, the gameplay is gonna be crazy with so much interaction freedom.
Nintendo always makes gameplay seamless. I remember one mechanic made me not want to play tomb raider. The now and arrow mechanic. One button to take it out, another button to pull and ready to shoot and the you have to use the amplifier stock to point. I forgot the exact mechanic but it makes gameplay so sluggish and frustrating. In BOTW you use one button for now and arrow while the gyro take care of aiming and just release the same button to shoot. I don’t know why other developers can’t come up with that?
6:08 - It looks like the triangles you have available to use are tied to the companion character's... Tail? which is also made of triangles and seems to shrink as you use echoes.
I agree that this game will be huge and has a really cool defining mechanic like Splatoon. Sadly though, I hate to be the bringer of bad news about your hops for the game but if you do more analysis from the two trailers two of your hopes are basically confirmed not going to happen. A) The game is basically confirmed open world based on the quest log in the second trailer and showing that the trailer went to the Gerudo desert first. And B) the echos work as follows, braking all three of your hopes there: i) different echos have different cost (triangles) with stronger ones costing more. This is proven by the triangles leaving Tri and going to the different objects based on their cost. ii) You can only cast as many objects as you have triangles behind Tri, and this can increase throughout the game. This is best shown in the bed stair scene that you mentioned, the triangles disappear from Tri as it gets larger. We also see the triangles above Tri increase from 3 to 4 in these trailers. So sorry no infinite beds, it’s honestly better this way I think. And iii) No not everything can become an echo, they showed off the “ultrahand” ability because some things were to big to be echos.
What’s funny is, most people see the genius in EoW. But we’re no longer allowed to be excited about Zelda on RUclips it seems. If we are, we must present it as a hot take or say it cautiously
While I agree that the newer games are everything else but my cup of tea I wouldn't be so negative without reasoning. Let's not keep the others from enjoying the game. We don't have to buy the game, so let's just not.
@@diamant_2dot0 the people that enjoy this new shii would have enjoyed it just as much had it gone under the name Star Tropics or a brand new ip. A classic series, a cornerstone of gaming has been gutted just for a quick buck so I think I'll continue voicing my opinions on an open forum thank you. Also, I haven't stopped anyone from enjoying it. Do you see me going into other peoples comments and telling them they're wrong or that they should keep their opinion to themselves?
@@n1nj4l1nk Your first comment didn't sound like voicing your opinion via reasoning. It was just insulting the game. Also, there was not a single mention like "this is my personal opinion". I don't want to have a several comments long discussion though. We feel the same about these games after all. Just don't spread negativity without reasoning.
@@diamant_2dot0 I'm sorry you need everything spelling out for you. Here's a tip for the future, if it's not something citing facts then it's an opinion. Once again, I will say what I like.

The absolute 1:1 remake of a really old game was dissapointing to you? Don't get me wrong, the artwork was weird but you shouldn't have expected that much

Magic? Didja say magic? I think i cant play this, im a Christian.
"I don't see anything like a magic meter"
Tri has some triangles that follow behind him and each copy costs a certain number of them.
I don’t actually have anything to say, I just wanted to comment.
That's saying something 😁
Welp
I think there may be a forth secret ability for Zelda, one themed around time and solving dungeons(otherwise they would’ve revealed it)
A fair trade for the lack of a stream yesterday

There's nothing genius about this derivative tripe. Zelda is dead, it's been replaced by guff.
