Making a Leather Pencil Case (Quietly)
A while back we attempted to make a leather pencil case and did not succeed! This time we are back with a new pencil case design that has turned out really beautiful. In this quiet video we make a leather pencil case by hand, using hand tools and simple materials.
We use natural vegetable tanned leather and saddle stitch this pencil case with waxed polyester threads. We did a bit of wet molding so the pencils slide in and out very easily, and a slip on top cover protects the whole pencil and keeps the tips ready to go. I really like the idea, always loved an organized pencil case, bit it's hard to find something for 2-5 pencils only. This solves this problem and even looks fantastic!

So this is a pencil case for someone who never really uses a pencil, because once it's been sharpened 3-4 times, you can never retrieve the pencil if it gets pushed in too far.
Not necessarily. I can assume Artists/Sketchers prefer working with long pencils as they help improve stability, and if you've seen Sketchers in public, they make measurements of whatever they're drawing with the pencil, which makes long ones much preferred. Needless to say, this could also be used for clutch pencils or pens without a clip
Or mechanical pencils
most of professional artists have steel pencil with graphite sticks various sizes inside, so you can put which one you want
Exactly what I was going to say lol
I think what you do is you just don’t push the pencil down into the slot. The cover stops at the same spot no matter how long the pencil is.

Pro tip: watch movies on kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.

Absolutely agree! Wouldn't be bad for a banker/teller. We went through pens like crazy, either other bankers would take them (by accident) or clients would haha

How about a fountain pen sleeve?
Hello, if you would add 1 or 2 drops of dish washing liquid 2 your water the leather will absorb the water faster and it will form around your pencils easier. Excellent work as always. GOD'S BLESSINGS SISTER ✝️ ⚾🙃

i think the spacing was about 3/4", all just depends on the pencils/pens you're using though!

Seems nice and all, but I could imagine some trouble when your pencils are worn down.. the fit might be too snug then
