i apologize if you have posted something about my question but I did search around for a while before resulting in asking. So before i gave into the masses and switched to rekordbox I was using serato and there are some things I miss about serato. With serato i could adjust the BPM with the slider and the pitch stayed the same and didnt change it to a chipmunk or someone entering a K hole while talking. Is there a way to change a setting in rekordbox to not pitch shift with tempo change? Thanks for all your videos. The way you you explain things are easy to grasp and funny to boot.
@@ReallyChrisM OMG thank you. I knew it was something little like that. It took me a couple days to realize I needed to turn sync off on whatever track I was loading anything to, especially DnB otherwise the pitch was warped and the track either cut in half time or doubled. Rekordbox hates DnB i guess. But ive seen some of your videos on that topic so yeah. super fun. 😅
Quick question: How many tracks do u how in a playlist for usb sticks using rekordox? I'm looking for the best way to navigate tracks on cdjs. i was thinking maybe 20 to 30 tracks per playlist.
BRO, aways when you drop a video, I am exactly on the topic of the video, couple of days prior to it. It's like I send a question to the Universe and it shots the answer to me through you! I can't believe this is happening with 99% of your videos. Crazy! Thank you! 🙏
Another great video.👍 The phrase RTM just doesn't apply to Rekordbox or Pioneer DJ controllers because what's supposed to be the manual is way too short and exasperatingly incomplete. Do they figure no one will read it so they don't bother? Their forum is also meh so YT vids like yours and Reddit posts are the only way to fully learn how to use what you paid for.
I think it is because it automatically sets your cue point to your first memory cue, and the cue point also serves as the automatic "loop in" place in your track if that makes sense
Apart from how valuable this information is, your video production is also off the chain. Well done Chris 💪🏾💪🏾
I looked this up a while ago and like you found no documentation on it. Thanks for making this video!
Why Chris isn't a Pioneer DJ product demonstrator, I' 'll never know.
Same... so knowledgable
nice 2 know, good video!

Master tempo is what you’re after. ‘MT’ next to the jog display in RB

I was wondering what that feeling was.. Glad it's helping!
@@ReallyChrisM yes, very helpful ... and entertaining videos. 🙌 Love your work!
I have a question. Can you use a master out as a send signal to a sampler and the send this back via a channel input on a FLX10?
Always highly valuable. Secrets of Success. Thank you Chris.
✌😎

Im a bit confused, does the job RPM speed do anything? I’m just not seeing what it does.
It’s more relevant for dvs, I just included it for completeness. Safe to leave at 33 👍🏼
Now that’s something interesting to know, thank you Chris!
your like the 3 body problem physicists for RBDJ..... good stuff.
What about for serato users can you make a video
When you load a track on a CDJ 3000 why does the in loop button flash? Anyone know?

Can I change rekordbox/cdjs so that my cue points hit at 12 o clock?
Not that I'm aware 🕑
At this point they should just hire you to fix their manual xD
ayy nice
Pioneer really does love leaving us Easter eggs to find for ourselves. 😂
Everyone knows that the developers hate to write the documentation :D here is a proof.
As a dev, I can confirm. Literally shocked every time I find good docs, which is unfortunately rare
*Laughs in serato*
Serato anyone….
Alpha theater wants to announce the changes 😅
So you as said "DJ's" are dependent of a pc, LOL!
