I would gather amongst other things it's the awful pollution. As a resident in South Korea, you notice bad pollution days at an eye-blink. But in India especially around Mumbai their pollution is awful every single day. AQICN (air quality index) goes up to 999, India regularly maxes out at that. Exercising outside, with no mask, for an hour, is the same as smoking 60 cigarettes.

      Lee Haseley
The process of ageing and the rough & tumble of real life experiences are the sources of humility not just Nasser's but of almost all human beings.
One exception appears to be Atherton who almost certainly didn't know the meaning of humility...he was always an absolute
mediocre cricketer, who persisted in overestimating his cricketing skills & abilities.
I suspect, as England's opening batsman & captain, Atherton fancied himself as a modern day version of that great, elegant, humble, & successful opening batsman & captain of England ( 1951-56), the Yorkshireman, Sir Len Hutton ( Test batting average 52...highest score 364 at The Oval 1938 Vs
      Bradman's mighty Australia
....won the Ashes 1953-54 tour of Australia etc against overwhelming odds)
Yet, when Atherton retired he had nothing to shout either about his Test captaincy or his batting average. Even after retirement, his lack of humility & bias showed up as a commentator ( both on Sky Sports TV & The Telegraph ), especially blatantly in his views of Indian cricketers( including Sachin Tendulkar !).
In his early days, Atherton's mentor was the England captain & a great opening batsman, Graham Gooch, who had a lot to shout about his achievements for England, yet he always spoke with humility. It
seems, Atherton didn't learn much from Graham Gooch. What a wasted opportunity.

With due respect to Mumbai & its cricketers; the best of Indian cricketing talent is in small tows & villages.
I have lived through out India and played everywhere I lived and was really astounded by the quality of talent that each village has.
No wonder that current Indian team has many guys from smaller places. Hope this trend continues and youngsters from more smaller places get opportunities; if that happens India will be a world beater for atleast 15+ years.
