Thank you so much for this recipe! I needed something for a party and this was a hit! Everyone asked for recipe and I gave them this video. Only things I did was double the amount and used Teriyaki sauce just cuz of sauce preference. This was great!!

Heyyy everyone sooo I tried this recipe andddd guess what it tasted literally tasteless and like flour and potato. I spent quite some time in the kitchen (1.5 hours 🥲). Making it. I even tried to add some spices but it was upto no good. I hardly ate one button noodle before I had to throw it.

so, just guessing here, but I bet you could "gasp" use instant mashed potatoes "double gasp".. love gnocchi with alfredo sauce (used to work in an Italian restaurant half a century ago) and made pasta from scratch back then

as someone that is anxious in the kitchen, i tried making this but thought i added too much potato starch. my mom was overly confident and added too much water so now i have oobleck

What else can you sauce the noodles with if you don’t have the ingredients you used? Can you use like pasta sauce and stuff? If so will it be as good?
This seems like a really versatile dumpling to me! Sort of like gnocchi- loads of different sauces taste great on gnocchi, so just experiment with these ones too! Home cooking doesn’t have many strict rules

Yes of course! Freeze them while they’re raw. Don’t boil them before freezing :)

They came out smushed together and when I tried to season them i made mashed potatoes instead 😂 but I remade them and they came out way better

Where are you from
I just tried making it and it didn’t work out :( my local grocery store didn’t have potato starch so I used tapioca starch instead which is what I had available and it seemed to just make it really sticky. I added a bit and tried kneading the dough and then added corn starch which still didn’t work. I added some flour and that didn’t help either. I think the tapioca starch was the issue? I was careful not to add too much of the potato water but unfortunately it didn’t work out and I had to throw it out... does anyone have any insight? Thanks ! :)
