I love Tour Edge. I have an E521 driver, an E522 3 wood and just got the E 523 5 & 7 woods. The 3 wood is the only 3 wood I can hit worth darn. My last clubs came in with the incorrect grips so I called them and they sent the correct ones, no muss, no fuss. Customer Service is great and they give a 15% Military/Veterans discount!
That’s awesome! Easily one of the most customer-focused golf companies in the biz!
Great vid. I too am a huge fan of Exotics and the hot launch series. I play an exs driver, XJ1 5 wood, exs 220 3 and 5 hybrid, and the new Matlby KE4 Max irons and Maltby max wedges. Also a Exotics proto Glod putter #9 shape. I love all these clubs and at $650 for all the clubs in the bag, unbeatable. I bought the heads only of the hybrid for $60 each and shafted with ust comp shafts. Driver got used for $100 like new. XJ1 was $60 (quite the price dop) As someone who took 10 years off and got back into it last year, Im very impressed with tour edge esp the exs line. The hybrids have such a nice feel and sound and just jumps off the face. I set my father up with e521 driver and 3 wood and he loves them. He still uses his Adams idea blue irons and tight lies 5 wood but to me, it seems like Tour Edge picked up where Adams left off when taylormade sank them. The E series seems to take a great deal of inspiration from the older tightlies around 2014. New subscriber here, cheers.
Also, the exotics trilogy woods seem the be where the Houdini sole started. Great FW woods you can get for $50
So great! The Exotics hybrids (and woods and drivers, for that matter) are beyond incredible!
@@ThatRangeLife They feel like no other too. Some kinda sorcery may be involved. Check out the new Maltby ke4 Max irons. These are the best looking max gi clubs I ever played and the best deal in golf. Replaced Ping g series irons and they seem superior in all aspects.
BTW, some great deals on the exs and exs 220 clubs now on ebay
I can’t wait to see these on the course. My car was stolen over a month ago with my clubs in it. (a full set of EXS exotics) I am in need of a new set and this might be one of my first choice is to test out.
I am a Big Fan of Tour Edge, I play the E521 Driver and the E522 irons , I couldn’t be Happier !
They’re so good!
I purchased a 5 iron of the e522 and a Launcher hb turbo 6 (same loft). Both were great clubs the for me the Cleveland edged it out and is my current 5 iron. Very close though, the feel on the clevelands are slightly better, to me.
I am also a Big Fan of Tour Edge, not many of us up here in Canada. I play the C722 Driver and the XCG6 3W. This year I am looking to add a 5W and replace my 4i with a hybrid, the new Hot Launch C series is looking good, but I might wait to see what the exotics do next. Like the new gear focused show!
Good channel gents
🙌🙌🙌🙌
I bought a complete E523 set. Can’t wait to hit them. I’m 60 and been out of the game raising kids for 20 years. I don’t have time to spend 10 years to work on my swing. I’m retiring soon and just want to hit it straight. Hope y’all do a video using them. Love your channel!!
Welcome back to the game! We plan on doing a video about them for sure! And thanks for watching!
@@ThatRangeLife I took my clubs to a simulator this weekend. They all hit really good especially the wedges. The 52*, 56*, and 60* all felt really smooth. Can’t wait to see you hit them. Merry Christmas!
@@ThatRangeLife one question, I’m 60 and haven’t played in 12 years except for a round in August and a round in the simulator. My swing speed on my driver was about 77. Will it increase the more I play?
@@alanearleforeman1965 I would imagine it will just as your body starts to get more comfortable with the swing and movements. Nothing dramatic but I bet you eventually get it into the 80s.
Thanks. I’m good from 170 in, any advice on getting to 170? Love your thoughts.
What are your thoughts on brand loyalty throughout the bag?
Where can I get a fitting for TE? How much?
Can I get a ‘bag evaluation’ from you?
Don’t think you could play 1-club w/the iron-woods.
Kris is a ‘touchy handsy’ 7i player. I’ve seen it!!!
I believe in playing whatever equipment works best for you regardless of brand. I personally have a mixed bag. You can go to Club Champion, not sure on price. Maybe Bill and I can ask for a favor. 😉
Great vid and info guys. I’ve always had a TE club in my bag at some point. With that being said, I’m in the market to replace my 2008 Callaway x-20’s. I’ve been away from golf for a few years but am not really getting back into it. I’m consistently breaking 90 now. I’m beginning to learn how to shape shots which is really helping. But distance and consistency is important. With all that said, I’m looking at the c522, c523, or ex E722. I know nothing beats getting out there and testing, but are the c523’s much better than the c522? Same about E722? Thanks guys.
Haven’t had a chance to hit the 523 or 723 stuff yet but I can tell you the 522/722 gear is REALLY good. If you’re breaking 90 consistently and starting to shape some shots, I think the 522/722 stuff will treat you just fine.
@@ThatRangeLife awesome! Thank you for your quick reply, Kris. Very helpful.
@@jeffpaul606 for sure! Thanks for watching and let us know what you end up with!
@@ThatRangeLife will do!
Hey guys! I was in the market for an E722 driver this winter when the new year gear was released. Should I look at the E523 instead and save a few bucks? What would you suggest E722 in 2023 or the E523?
Hard to say, especially since I haven’t had a chance to hit the E523 yet. If you can, I’d find somewhere where you can hit them both and see how you feel about each one.
I wonder if you might look at the C523 vs the E722.
I just bought E522 irons from them. Should I trade them in?
PS I would love the putter from your contest.
Wouldn’t trade them in just yet. Once I test the new ones I’ll let you know for sure! 😉
Which Tour Edge wedge(s) do you play Kris?
I have 56 degree Exotics EXS Pro Blade wedge. Love it.
@@ThatRangeLife Thanks for the reply, I was looking at that wedge... might have to replace my aging 56 and 60.
