How to take a PATH train at WTC, NYC

Connecticut here I did it on my birthday first time solo. From wtc the colorful building to Newark nj. Then jersey city then Hoboken pier 13 was incredible. Solo traveler just exploring 😅

Trains weren’t automated at the time…

@@davidng2336 I get that the trains are old, but setting up barriers is as simple as fitting a device that lets the train communicate with the barriers its door position, along with some extra driver training. But ig it’s the latter that costs the most money.

I dip my pay per ride metrocard and it works well
Last time i rode PATH, i just dipped in my regular metrocard and it let me in as long as i had sufficent finds

You have to use a TAPP card, which is like OMNY.
