HEY!!! So after a great first day in Warsaw, we decided to go to the famous Warsaw Uprising Museum. Interesting on the theme of the museum we were prepared to learn more about it, but we were BLOWN AWAY by the creativity and interactive of the exposition. A VERY innovative way to present such an important and specific event!
The museum is free one day a week- just check their website!

Completely agree with you about the Warsaw Uprising Museum.
It is one of a kind. It is hard to understand the spirit of Poland without seeing it. It helps to imagine what this city and whole Poland went through during the WW2.
TOTALLY! It wasn't in our original plan to visit but then a few people told us it is a must. And it's totally true. Their collection is amazing and the way they present it, very unique!
Let's make one thing clear beyond doubt. This museum documents events and history of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising and not the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of 1943. There seems to be regular confusion among foreigners.
True. Before going we thought it was about the Ghetto Uprising, only in the beginning of the museum we found it was about the Warsaw Uprising.
