It will be, yes. The Shay is the only steamer and that needs a going over this summer - it seems down on power and the steam pump may need some finessing I think. I was just drooling over the engineering on the OS version of it in fact!
The loco has a very elaborate boiler backhead manifold and pipework Jason, and the cab platework looks well detailed for sliding windows. The whole loco looks and drives lovely. Cheers.
@@ukmodelengineering bit far for me haha and nothing to run yet but when that's all nailed down I'll be looking forward to touring some of the sites in the UK 👌
Amazing how different it is from the Stephenson one we have up in Edinburgh. Gorgeous engine bud =)
Fantastic!
Glad you like it!
Thanks for the footplate ride. Nothing beats it.
You're welcome!
Beautifully running loco Jason, thanks for posting 👍🏼 I’m building the cab up on mine at the moment, so a comparison is especially useful.
@Darren Elmslie thank you for your comment. Will your 7 1/4" Black five rebuild be converted to electric like your 5" Princess Royal?

Beautiful engine, but wish it had of been linked up.
Is that yours Jason?
@Christopher Newton, yes it is, sold my last 7 1/4" Black 5 and purchased this one late last year.
