So actually my ps3 is dead? Why did I pushed the update button. It worked at first, I started mine up after 2 years. I got the whole menu and stuff and it said update. I pressed the update and now Im stuck with this. RIP PS3 😢
hello boss I really need help because I have a ps3 slim CECH-2004B which has a wifi and bluetooth connection problem I changed 3 network cards it does not always work how to test its regulator?
I'm not an expert at this I just do it for fun, but if I can try to help I would say it's probably the wifi chip inside. I tryed replacing mine and wasn't successful. Recommended just looking for a new PS3
I didn't get it fixed. The thing that's the problem is the wifi chip on the main board i tryed to replace it myself but couldn't get it to work. I recommend if you have the same error to other get a new one or find a shop that will repair it. It's not an easy fix unfortunately 😓
Wifi bga chip needs to be reballed using expensive equipment and replaced with new chip. Unfixable for average homeowner. Just buy another. Not worth fixing due to condition and model. I reccomend model 2101b ps3 slim.

What type of harddrive is needed in place of the ps3 harddrive
Hi, yes I format the hard drive of the console and download the console software from the sony page and update with usb.
Will error 8002F1F9 be fixed?

Sorry to hear that 😕 I wish there was an easier way to fix this .. maybe someone will come up with a update patch that skips this check

Yes I know it's the wifi chip I am planning on trying to fix it. But I doubt I can lol o well it's worth a shot
