Today we'll be looking at Custom Mech Wars, a third person game featuring Robots by D3 Publisher, the company who published games such as the Earth Defense Force series, the Bullet Girls series and the Omega Labyrinth series to name a few. Surely a game with giant robots has got to be super fun right?

This game takes ideas from so many different mech games and I find it kinda charming. It makes me nostalgic for Mechassault in particular.
I always loved Meck games but somehow I missed this one. Thanks for letting me know it existed.
Bullet Girls? Count me in.
Custom mech wars is on a big sale for the summer sale on steam, ite likely going to go through this again in the future if you miss the sale
The customization sounds fun, especially being able to create a mech-train, but the battles seen in this video feel pretty dang unimpressive. Some real lackluster enemy AI, attack patterns and combat, so even if I trick out my waifu train with enough missiles shoot a whole circus with every button press I wonder if it'll even feel fun to play...
By now you probably know as there was a free demo to test out. It plays like it looks. Pretty flat and boring. No impact or weight to anything. Not even anything like EDF where you destroy whole cities
The story sounds like a mash-up of Patlabor and Starriors. Where do I sign up?
You're SO biased! There's no way this game deserves The dream scene club train with Omega Labyrinth truck on top for a rating!!
It's BARELY worth a low poly Pikachu w/ ice cream cone shoes. You've sold out, IB. Shame.
