      Tough for this comment. Wiseman came in as a 19 year. Davis coming in as an older rookie at 23. Wiseman needs development while Davis already went through development, he's just fitting in.

      @javierlandaverde4108 you're right as well buddy, Wiseman was never going to make it. Dubs need either European journeyman, or 4 year kids. There system can be complex, and imagine Klay, Draymond and Paul all on your ass lol

      I think Wiseman would’ve been good if they developed him better. His short college career is probably why he hasn’t thrived in this league and on top of that he got injured early. If the warriors just sent him to the gleague for a year I think that might’ve helped his development

  • @zmonkey111
    @zmonkey111 4 месяца назад +120

    I believe his greatest asset is the maturity. 4 years in college. Properly coached up. Knows what to do and what not to do. Wiseman came in with hype and wanted to do too much.
    This man is smart, athletic, and humble. He plays within himself.

    • @Someothername2134
      @Someothername2134 4 месяца назад +5

      Totally. That extra time in college is underrated. If you draft a 1 and done then expect them to need 3 years to develop. The warriors dont have that patience and their system/team requires extremely high basketball IQ. That is why vets have done such a great job here historically (McGee, Cousins, Iggy, etc.).

    • @lorenzosalud1416
      @lorenzosalud1416 4 месяца назад +4

      True. I feel like bigs need more than 1 year in college for them to be productive in the league. I mean bigs develop at a slower pace in the league

    • @javierlandaverde4108
      @javierlandaverde4108 4 месяца назад +6

      Not just Davis though.. Moses Moody played totally different in College. He was a bucket getter, scorer. Moody sat down and understood he can't do the same in a team where there are guys who have that role. Curry and Klay. Moody worked on his defense, athleticism and now gets rewarded at times where he can iso but he gets most of his buckets from cutting and wide open 3's. Davis is already getting that down as a guy rolling hard to the rim.

    TJD has a 7 foot 1 inch wingspan to rebound and protect the paint, he is a starter (assists) and a finisher (points, scoring), he changes shots on defense, protects the rim, and runs the court well. Steve Kerr needs to gradually stretch his minutes, as he is able, to expand his minutes to benefit the Warriors. He was a plus 25 in plus/minus against the Celtics, possibly the best NBA team today.

  • @justinwebb01

    TJD needs to be the starting center from now on. Draymond should stay in the PF spot or backup Trace at the center along with Looney. Dario Saric can backup Draymond or start at PF depending on what’s needed for matchups on a given night. These changes mean Jonathan Kuminga moves over to start at small forward, Moody and Wiggins as his back up.
    Front court issues resolved!

    • @ericw4377
      @ericw4377 4 месяца назад +16

      Agree with everything you said. Green cannot be the occasional center anymore--he has to be PF only. Sorry Looney, but you have to come off the bench. He's a great rebounder, but he fumbles the ball a lot in the paint and doesn't have near the athleticism or rim protection that TJD offers. Kuminga has to start over Wiggins, that's pretty apparent.

    I have been a fan of Dramond for over a decade. Having said that, his latest action almost turned me off the Warriors. After the nightmare of Green's latest behaviors, Trace Jackson-Davis is the positive thing that we needed -- as Warriors fans -- to give us hope. Jackson-Davis (J-D) is such a great fit to the team, that he is obviosly deserving of 30+ minutes per night and to be put in as a starter. His play on the court makes everyone around him better. He's very intelligent and athletic. Furthermore, his attitude is humble, respectful and the type that will learn and grow in the NBA and with this team. I predict that J-D will have the biggest impact on this team since, the splash brothers. What's even better, he's currently playing with the splash brothers.

Just because Mark’s being an asshole doesn’t mean you get to slander our state though, we can do that fine on our own.

    Dray has become irrelevant and maybe even a negative to the team now. His ego will never allow him to sit and play maybe15 minutes a night while two rookies take his place with a more positive result, so maybe he should agree to a trade or simply retire.

      Green is now a cancer and a distraction - and he cost too much for what he now offers. The Warriors would be better off trading him and Wiggins. The Warriors have a number of good young players and they need to play now and develop.

    • @semigeniusreally8988

      @@jamesdavis8731 From the beginnning of the season I saw the Dubs has having a bench that, by the All Star Game, would itself be a Top 10 team in the NBA if they started. I saw the Dubs of being in the enviable position of being able to compete for a championship now - given that Steph and KT and Dray maybe had two productive years left - while at the same time being able to rebuild "on the fly" with that incredible bench if used properly so as to continue their high-end competitiveness when the core 3 are gone. The problem for the first 20 games was Kerr's refusal to adapt to his new-found talent and coach like it's 2023, not 2015, or even 2022.. Dray's suspensions were a blessing in disguise, forcing Kerr to look to his bench and now we see the results. Thankfully, forced change that bred success has taught a crucial lesson to Kerr, Klay seems to have returned to form, CP3 makes Curry better than ever with less pressure and demand on his body and the rookies have shown their off-the-charts value. Dray must go and, if he does, the sky is again the limit for this team. And trading for anything other than high future draft choices will upset the delicate balance they have now achieved and which can only get more solid over time if left unchanged.

      @@jamesdavis8731 Dray is now a cancer, and Wiggs has become a great bench player. They don't have to trade him, they just have to manage his ego as a first draft pick and former hero to become a position player with far less quality minutes. I think his interest in the game has waned over time and he might just be willing to assume that role to keep his paycheck and assume less responsiblity, but he is surely not a starter on this team anymore.

    What's wild is his frame doesn't say "athletic" yet he's got all the physical abilities. I didn't realize he was a 4yr college player that went 20/10 until the analysts mentioned it. I'm really stoked to see Kerr play these guys. The veterans need to manage minutes to some degree so that they got some legs come playoffs. For a very long time the Warriors have not had depth...but rather an insanely good starting lineup with maybe a killer 6th man. It looks like we're building a great team here. The first 20 games of the season were very frustrating to watch.

    I've said since day one when they drafted Trayce, they needed to insert him into the lineup immediately.
    Sadly it took this long however Draymonds lack of Emotional Intelligence was a blessing in disguise as Kerr was forced to play Trayce Jr. Good thing this kid has a good head on his shoulders as i wouldn't have blamed him from being discouraged and wanting out of GSW. I truly believe they could have won all those close games they lost had Kerr played him sooner, however better late than never.
    This kid is THE REAL DEAL...!!! Send Draymond to LA with his Daddy Lebron. We don't need to babysit him anymore.
    GO WARRIORS....!!!

      It took David Lee getting injured for Kerr years ago to put in Draymond, if I recall. Now Draymond is out and TJD is showing some things. It would be interesting to see TJD along side Draymond. In the modern NBA they have roughly enough size in the front court but tons of skill.

    You can still get good two years of top speed from curry so if they want to squeeze out one more championship, they need to surround him with younger people. I like Draymond, but age is beginning to catch up with him. Klay well he should be with the second unit at least.

    TRace should play 30min. He helps the team on both ends of the court. One thing I noticed is when the team is on offence sometimes they just stand around the the out of bounds line behind the basket with the other team blocking them so the person bringing the ball down has no one to pass it to?

      Irony of someone who doesn’t know anything about Indiana basketball making ridiculous assumptions. He played for two years under Archie Miller who didn’t teach him a damn thing. He only started learning the position when Mike Woodson arrived and convinced him to stay for a fourth year. Add a mid-range shot and a couple years in the league he will be top 10 at his position easily.
