    Are you a divemaster? If not would you consider getting the qualification in the future?

    Just left Paradise Divers in Utila after doing my open water and advanced! I watched this video before I went and wanted to watch it now to see all my favorite people again! All the love for Paradise!

      Are they careful about safety and have O2 for emergency DCS treatment? Thanks! :)

    Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I am considering doing it as well at Paradise next October 😍 just wondering if they give you a certificate afterwards and if the master is valid internally. Thank you 💖

    • @ChelseaAddams
      @ChelseaAddams  2 года назад +1

      Ahh yes you definitely should! Which courses are you looking at doing?
      And I did the divemaster with SSI so it’s all digital but you can order a physical copy of the certification. You have to pay an annual fee to PADI/SSI to be an official divemaster (you don’t have to pay it straight away, but you won’t get the official certificates until you do, I haven’t paid yet as I don’t need the certification until I want to work as a divemaster so I didn’t see the point in paying). What do you mean if it’s valid internally? It’s valid across the world 🙂 or if you mean eternally, I think there is some rules that you have to dive as a divemaster every 4 years or something to keep it valid, but I’m not 100% sure about these rules so it will be worth looking into. 🥰

      Thank you so much! I would do everything that you did since I am starting from zero as well ☺️ you sold me completely with your videos ahaha. And I typed wrong, I meant internationally, so yes all around the world.

      @@marellabagnoli8868 ahh perfect, you’ll have an amazing time! Ahaa it’s well worth every minute there, diving is so incredible and it’s so rewarding being able to help others too! Ahh okay yeah, it is valid around the world! ☺️

    What is the maximum time you can hold your breath underwater? How deep can you free dive with or without fins?

      @@ChelseaAddams Thanks for the reply! You mentioned accommodations are included in the dive program... what's the food situation? Is it relatively inexpensive?

    • @ChelseaAddams
      @ChelseaAddams  2 года назад +1

      Yes, at Paradise Divers, the accommodation is included for the nights of your course. For food, there is a kitchen but it's honestly just as cheap/nicer to go out for meals on the island. You can eat the local food such as baleadas which are VERY cheap, or you can have a more westernised meal which is a bit more expensive but still VERY cheap! I actually made a video of a guide to Utila where I go through everything about the island including places to eat, maybe that will help you (:

      I was learning to dive in this video, everyone uses their arms to help a little bit when they first start diving, it's natural. I don't do it anymore haha
