- This project entailed building a cast iron wheel wagon with forge built decorative ironwork. The Maytag 92 engine was manufactured in December 1930 and was restored in 2014. The ice cream freezer is a one-gallon wooden tub freezer. The engine moves on a pipe platform to tighten the drive belt. The ice cream freezer is also on a pipe platform that moves to the powered pulleys. The ice cream freezer platform tilts to empty the ice water. The muffler is a cast iron cannon that smokes realistically. The freezer makes very good ice cream.
The cannon exhaust is cool.
Well now I;m hungry for ice cream. Brilliant video and machine.
Love that exhaust!
Very nice I love that exhaust. :)
This is super cool! I just purchased an old maytag motor like this at my local antique store so I'm setting out to find the parts to make an ice cream maker. Love that you used the White Mountain maker too.... they're top notch. Any suggestions as to where I can find parts?
2 Stroke Vanilla probably tastes fkn awesome tho
In 1950, we had a gas engine washer. I wonder if the engine looked like that?
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN IT IS DONE?
Where did you get those V-belt pulleys and what size are they?
Mr. Snavely engine bogs down
