- From an early age, Laura Radwell dreamed of being an artist. In her first career in marketing and communications, she always tried to incorporate visual components into her work. After leaving the marketing field, Radwell returned to her dream of being a painter. In her Cottage Street studio in Easthampton, she creates large scale paintings that focus on atmosphere and her inner impressions of the landscape. Producer Dave Fraser visited her studio to meet Radwell and get a first-hand look at her dreamy artwork.
It's never too late to start painting. It took me years to paint again after working as a professional Chef in NYC. Now I paint full time in my home studio. It's an incredible gift. Painting is a long rewarding journey....never give up!
Loved, loved, loved !!!!!!!
I'm from Brazil and I loved your landscapes!
So beautiful !
Marvelous studio... and work..😊
Well this resonated with me ; spent my working life as a chef very demanding very little me time ; but I returned to painting maybe 4 years ago ; a passion I always had ; your interpretation of how you perceive your work just gravitated to me ; your work is wonderful ethereal even ; I don’t usually comment but your work was very worthy of comment ; very best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
Love LOVE your work. Thank you for sharing 💖 from Australia xx
It's never too late! Beautiful work!
This is exactly how I feel when I paint. I too have to take care of my family, but I'm sure the time will come when I'll have my own studio and do what I love for living. I feel so connected to this lady. And her paintings are beautiful.
Beautifull atmospheric paintings with a very sensuel gestural presence - and the colors sing
Good for you love. Great to see an artist doing their own thing and loving it. It shows in your paintings.
You know ,that is the way i feel to paint my arts,as a matter of fact looks like, because the feeling is there,in every stroke.
she is fantastic, now she became my inspiration 👏🙏
Beautiful 🤩🌈☔️✨
I just love love her work! And, watching her work as well as talking about it, is giving me courage to go on with my own work. Thank you for this!
Escape to the landscape.
Absolutely inspiring! I am happy you found your way to the canvas and your work is moving.
So glad I found your channel!
Breathtaking art, quenches the thirst for beauty.
Andrew Tischler has devised a clever system to hang huge canvases sturdily and inexpensively on a wall for painting, he also has a RUclips channel, with free step by step video guide. I hope you have your dream studio soon. Thank you for your inspiration 🙏🏼
Very exciting painting and she creates some compelling visions.

Where can I see more of your work?
What paints do you use. Acrylic or oils?
Do you sell online, through your own site and through sites which put artist's work up for a small commission, and reach more people than we could ourselves? They also sell prints. What is your feeling about that/ anyone?
ilove you frre dame
It seems to be oil paint - is it?
Thank you. I thought I had given up for far too long. I painted until I just quit. Now I have time, I have space, I just need a kick in the behind. Talent is nothing without drive, dreams, and a good housekeeper. ;D
Love this video she's a very good fine artist they are rare to find these days but I wear the same kind of shoes exactly thanks for a great video and a great artist!
What an inspiration!
Is that wax paper she's mixing the paint in as a pallet?
Love this interview!
Love this woman! I agree with her method of painting the feeling and not copying a place.
Kindred spirit. Your approach is the same as mine - I've been painting for a long time.
excellent works. thanks.
