You are doing an amazing job going out on all these Via Ferrata. Quite a commitment on your part. Impressive. Mürren makes me torn. I travelled to Europe with the intention to do this Via Ferrata but then I started to be bothered by its commercial aspect (you are only allowed to zipline on it with a guide, a day before the official opening day you were not allowed to climb it, it only is a level C, etc) I might make a new 1200km effort and come climb it but I don't know. We will see. Instead I used your Instagram journey to inspire myself and climb some great Via Ferrata otherwise I would've probably ignored. Thank you for that. You are amazing!!!
Thank you so much for your comment. It really means a lot to us to read this kind of feed back. Regarding the Mürren Via Ferrata, it is not much of a problem to skip the zip line. It doesn’t add much to the route. It’s really the heights and the numerous ladders that makes this via ferrata attractive and of course the beautiful view on the mountains. Thanks again for the support and we will maybe see each other on the wires one day 😊
What Via Ferrata is this? Can I do this as my first Via Ferrata? I'm not afraid of heights but this will be my first time climbing anything real. I have taken the basic climbing course though. Can you recommend any other good (scenic/not really easy too) Via Ferrata for me if not this?
@@ViaFerrataHelvetica Thanks a lot for replying! I can't speak your language. May I know what route is this? I'll be coming to Switzerland for 10-12 days next year and will be covering Schwellbrunn, Interlaken, Zermatt, Gruyeres, Grimentz, and Foroglio 1-2 days each. Is there any better Via Ferrata I can take? Also, anything else I need to prepare? I have almost a year left. Thanks a lot!
This route is located in Mürren in the Lauterbrunnen valley close to to Interlaken. It’s a beautiful scenic route for beginners/intermediate climbers (via ferrata wise I mean). Another more difficult road is close to Moiry. It’s called Via Ferrata Moiry and it’s quite challenging but super fun. If you felt comfortable with the one in Mürren you could try the one in Moiry.
@@ViaFerrataHelvetica Thank you! I'll go to the Murren first. Is it better to do the booking on the spot or should I do online booking first? And, where should I book?
Your life is not your own to cherish and depend on. Anyone who does high risk sports are not thinking about their love ones and those that gave them life. There are safe ways to enjoy nature that has zero risk factors. It's a ridiculous sport. Do you know how many corps are left in high mountains? You can't carry them down so when someone gets severely injured or ill, or they die, the bodies are left behind. Then you have those that get lost, eaten by an animal, or get crushed by an avalanch. Unwelcomed sports I must say.

Cool story..
Who builds these engineering feats? I would appreciate a video on their construction
Very impressing and beautiful ....
Thank you for your comment 😊
When walking itself is so difficult, imagine how some people fixed those supporting clamps in to the rock!

Why would anyone think of doing these things? Out of their mind.
Because it’s so much fun to do. Of course if you’re afraid of heights, this would be hell.

You'll need to stop and admire your surroundings.

We cherish life every day and are very careful. This activity may look dangerous but it’s really safe if you use your safety equipment correctly.
