my father is a veteran soldier in mindanao and fought many battles, when he saw the scenario that the ISHIT are in defensive position he said it will be 1 = 10 the ISHIT have all the advantages but the phil army and scout rangers are truly elite, despite to all the advantages of the enemy like hostages, positions of snipers to high buildings etc. they still manage to get them, it takes 5 yrs in syria to minimise them and it only take 4 mnths for the phil soldiers to massacre this ISIS rats

I live in the city next to Marawi, only 35 kilometers away. During this battle, we were living peacefully as if nothing's going on. Everything was normal, all thanks to our brave soldiers. I will grow old and die with my huge respect for them.

They could end that war in three months because of lack of experience in urban fighting ph army are trained in jungle fighting but they have some experience of urban fighting in zamboanga siege and they gain more experience in matawi siege
