Got them all. And it’s not Ford “Rancher”, it’s Ford “RANCHERO”!!!! My grandfather owned a salvage yard when I was growing up. If I could get them running, I could drive them around his huge salvage yard. He also made me count cars and identify them.
Though I got 3 wrong one early 60’s I never seen before and couple newer “remake” models when I couldnt deduce between models of same make….im old and drove some of the older ones and new of people who some others back in the 80’s
I am a Mopar guy. The Dodge Charger Daytona was built for 1969. The Plymouth Superbird was built in 1970 to get Richard Petty back from Ford. Buddy Baker broke 200mph in 1969 in a Daytona. I have a 1971 Dodge Charger Superbee clone. I also have a 2018 Fiat Charger. Go to many car shows and got all the questions right. A couple by simple elimination. Good quiz.✌
Exactly right. I got 30 of 30. BTW... Baker broke the 200 mph barrier driving a Chrysler Engineering vehicle prepped for NASCAR. It was NOT stock as some believe!
No problem, however - you forgot the "o" on Ranchero, and there was no 1968 Daytona Charger, the first half of the '69 model year it was still the Charger 500, then it became the '69 Daytona for the second half of the model year... good to see all these oldies i worked on growing up !
I got all of them correct, but would have been harder had I not had multiple choice. For instance, I thought the Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II was a Torino King Cobra at first glance. Also would have been more shaky on the modern Challenger and Camaro years/versions. Very fun test!
I am a retired drag racer who lived and loved cars and have a college education degree in vocational education for auto mechanics. I am 77 years old also retired. I wouldn’t be afraid to swap wits with your best. I set numerous national records drag racing in my life. But enjoyed your quiz, I guess I am not getting senile. Thanks
I knew all the really old ones, but had trouble with the most recent ones. Missed 3, but I did miss the GSX. I guessed the Cyclone, but never saw one in my life.
I owned or worked on most these cars at one time or another. Grew up on the family salvage yard, then had my own repair/performance shop. Had a 66 Chevelle SS 396, 64, 65, 66 GTOs, tri-power 389s, 421 SD tri-power, Buick Stage I 455, 65 Mustang 2+2 w/317hp 289, 40 Ford PU w/390 PI, 68 Rebel w/ HP 343. My favorite is the one I still have, 68 AMX 290(#352), swapped a 360 into it, but now has a 401. Went from Nashville to Jackson Tenn in under an hour. If it hadn't been for a trucker with a big bad amp, a lot of us would probably still be in jail. Dude in a Olds 455 Hurst 442 said he couldn't believe a car could go that fast with big tires, I flew past him when he was doing 120. I was running 50 series indy tires and a 3.15 gear. I find it amazing I'm still alive.
100%! The second to last had me a little worried but, I got it right! lol. I enjoyed every moment of it, a few of them I even owned, wish I never got rid of them but they most likely would have been rust buckets, I live and grew up here in Flint, Michigan. I am now subbed, left a thumbs up, and a tap on the bell.
The old cars (60s-72) were fun to drive back then. We could smoke the tires at will and the exhaust made a lot of noise. It's cool to see the old cars and recall the memories, but the big horse Challengers, Camaros and Mustangs of today with all the bells and whistles really do it for me.
30 for 30, but the Cyclone Spoiler was kind of a trick question. The one in your quiz was a concept car never put in production with the aero front end and only 2 are known to exist. The Red one in your quiz and a Yellow one thats whereabouts unknown.
@@wespaisley257 Yes, I know. It was going to be built to compete with the Plymouth Superbirds and the Dodge Charger Daytona, but they couldn't get the rear end to stay down and it steered like a Dump Truck.
@@hillbillyhitman8506Nope. Take a closer look at the front fender in front of the wheel @13:17 The Spolier II callout graphics have been smudged/ blurred out. See how the black stripe just kind of ends abruptly? That’s where the smear over the name is. Also check out the roofline at the rear quarter window. That’s the cyclone roofline and not the Torino’s. The Merc windows were more curved and the Torinos more angular.
The Daytona Charger was introduced on April 13 1969 chances are slim this is a 68. All 70 and 71 Torino GTs had GT logos on both sides and had either the shaker hood or the standard GT hood scoop. Also pretty sure there is no such thing as a 2004 Mustang GT ( Boss ) ! In 2003 and 2004 Ford brought back the Mach1. But ALL of those had the distinctive shaker hood !
The 2004 Boss was a styling package and a special intake manifold on the New Edge body style Mustang. It was a one year deal, and was a total bomb. Not many people liked it. The marketing campaign was "The Boss is Back!"
This is the easiest test I’ve ever taken. I called out year, make and model of every one of them the second the picture was shown. Then I had to wait forever on every one for the list to pop up.
I got them all but one, the ugliest car ever made, I guessed wrong between the challenger or charger @ 6:56. I remember a few of those weird things running around. Used to get a good laugh at them. I was cruising around in a '64 Dodge 440 back then. Fun video!

Got them all. But then I grew up in the 60s and 70s. Even owned a few of them. You left off quite a few from the 60s. Like the 68/69 Z28, Plymouth GTX and so on.
This quiz was easy only because I'm a 73 yr. old gear head who read every copy of ''Hotrod and Carcraft'' magazine front to back and back to front every month in high school.
I've taken two of your quizzes and missed just one the last one on this muscle car quiz I picked the wrong challenger. Also the car you identified as a mercury cyclone was I believe a ford torino king cobra. At any rate I find your quizzes easy to the point of almost childish.
Since I'm from Sweden and have only seen maybe half of the cars, I passed all but 2. It was the GSX and the last. It was quite easy considering you were given 4 to choose from, so I ran the exclusion principle. 😎👍
Pictured is a Pony Car. A Muscle Car back then to me was a Big Iron Donkey with a wild Stallion under the hood. I drove a 1969 Mach 1 428 CJ. Also a Pony Car!
And that year Ranchero wasn't a muscle car, even if it came with a big block. It's amazing how many of these quizzes either have the wrong picture for year, or include vehicle's that don't fit the category.
Only in 1964. In 1965 it stood for 4 barrel carb, 400 CU. in. engine, dual exhaust. They came with either 4 speed manual or the 2 speed jetaway automatic transmissions. I owned 4 1965 442's. All 2 speed automatics.
How was this difficult? I couldn't see the grille on the last one too clearly but it appeared like the 2008-14 Challenger grille UPDATE: I went back and zoomed in a bit, sure enough it was the current gen Challenger
I got 3 wrong. I got the 69 Shelby wrong and Mustangs are my favorite cars LOL When they put a Charger and a Challenger in the same multiple-choice it makes it tough LOL🤣
if you want too see the Stage 2 version look in my garage!!! it came with the Stage 2 package in the trunk i ordered it that way , only way too get it !!!!!!!

Yes, you are right, but it looked like the O was cut off, not forgotten.
I think it said in the sales brochure it was also called the Rancher. Though 99.999% of everyone called it the Ranchero like it said on tv at the time
I was just happy Ranchero AND El Camino were not two of the options.
Thank you...

noticed that too

Cyclone Spoiler II had a different roofline than the King Cobra

I missed 2. When you have two of the same model it is difficult to remember the differences between them. Good video!!!
Especially when all the emblems are taken off !!!!
I got all of them, however, the Dodge Daytona was introduced 1969 not 1968, but this was still alot of fun.

right, I had a lot of trouble with the newer ones as well
Me too. 60s good. 2000 not so good.
Me too, the 2010 and 2017 Camaro and the two newer Challengers, the other cars I grew up around.
Didn’t need 10sec per question. 1 second would suffice. Pretty easy, considering i owned 5 of them

Good video. Thought all of the early Shelbys were color-coded and the 2016 Chevy, no idea. Thanks!
Missed 2. The modern GM and Ford stuff got me.
I also missed 2 and it was the newer Mopar that got me. I don't know enough about them to tell the differences.
Yeah you're going to have to make it harder than that. Too easy
That 64 GTO stumped me...didn't see that one comming... I thought it was a Buick LOL🤣
Nailed it too, nice to know you know pointless stuff, thanks for fun quiz 😅
Excellent!
Missed one. The Buddy Baker #88 Dodge Daytona @6:35 is a 69 not a 68. They were only made one year in 1969.

I only missed one...because the1968 Dodge Charger Daytona is EXTREMELY rare...1 of O (ZERO!). 1969's less so.
The Charger Daytona (or 500) existed because the aerodynamics of the original 68 Charger were so bad.

Those of us who know cars Aced this without any choices given. Very easy.
Ten seconds is too long. I was answering as soon as the car appeared.
100% here too, although a couple were a bit tricky.
100%…… I owned a couple of those cars as a teenager back in the day before becoming a marine in 1981 🇺🇸👊🏼👊🏼

I almost fell asleep because of the time between car choices - of which I got 100% correct even with the errors
On the last picture of the challenger, my blue powerwagon is in the back ground!
Piece of cake!
I tapped on the correct answer box till the timer ran out. what a sham of a quiz.
27 of 30. Not really a Mopar guy, so you know where my weak spots are.
