I agree with you pretty much. I think he's using cody as a main because he likes the style of play I guess and honestly a good cody is pretty scary. I really looked up to his ken when he was using him as I main ken myself.
Humanbomb won his way through, so he deserved it. The question about the EVO seedings and shiz is another topic entirely, which can be discussed to great length.
In such a big tournament, good players are going to run into each other eventually. What do you expect? If you make top 8, you deserve top 8. Plain and simple.

Man, a lot of great matches are not on youtube. I have a hard time finding more matches from momochi and latif vs daigo. The thing about great players losing before top 16 is that Japan has like 41 players? And all those are top players so they are bound to kill each other off. As for humanbomb, I can tell he was very nervous once he got into Top 8. He actually beat quite a few good players including Poongo. His sakura style is different from Uryo's. Yes, I know he drops combos but..
humanbomb is soooo good bro, if you watch him play casuals its rly scary man, he was realy nervous on stage you can tell, i watch some of his casuals match against top players he had unseen frame traps, and unblockables.
while I disagree with calling out human bomb (he did his work, and= beat poongko after all), but it is very misleading when half the japanese players eliminated each other
Its kind of upsetting that such a great player like Momochi mains a mediocre character. Especially with one with such crappy wake up options. Don't get me wrong, I have mad respect for his Cody, it's like freakin Stonewall Jackson. But I feel like he'd have more success if he mained like guile or yun, characters that aren't top top tier (because thatd be boring) but ones that are just a bit stronger
I guess its like a payback for the SBO banana ken incident. Now that both countries they are ¨even¨ let hope next mayors are fair for everyone. Enough whit the fraudulent brackets!

I still hope Momochi would go back to Gouki. His Gouki was what got me playing Gouki. Some great matches in vanilla against Daigo's Ryu.
