I went through cancer a few years ago. 25 radiation treatments and two operations. I was very calm through it all. Faith in Christ and knowing what happens at the end of this life can have a very calming effect.
Hey good friends, I had a CLL diagnosis 10 years ago. Began treatment January 2024 Gazyva infusions and 1 year of Venclexta. Now enjoying complete clinical remission. Skippered by Mayo Clinic- Rochester. Never any discomfort except the first 10% infusion. Celebrating by going to Kona in 2 weeks! Best to you.
Eric and Julie, thank you so much for letting us take this journey with you. Last Feb. 22, my husband died while we were visiting in Kona and he had to be airlifted to Oahu and Queen's Hospital. We got to know that hospital and its staff very well. They were kind and caring giving us all the time we needed to mourn. My family are planning to return this August to spread some of his ashes on his favorite beach, Spencer. He loved Hawaii Island. Keep up your spirit and good Karma.
So much resonates with your experience. The exposure with ground water impacting family & friends. My brother had 3 months with inoperable brain tumor- visualizing it shrinking 4x a day. He made it. Keep seeing yourself thriving! Blessings
Dear Eric and Julie, thank you for sharing this story. Prayers and positive thoughts will be coming daily your way. May you find the answers and solution to the CLL.
Good luck with your fight, I went thru this 5 yes ago. A different type of cancer. After surgery and 30 rounds of radiation. I'm now cancer free. Staying positive is a big key, modern medicine is amazing. Hang in there, and best of luck
Wishing you the best on your cancer journey. You have given so much to this community, it's our turn to give it back you you in Love , Prayers, and Aloha! xoxoxo
I have been following you two since I got here, and you both have been very helpful. Best wishes and I hope all goes well. Thanks to both of you for being you!
Our thoughts are with you through this difficult chapter and admire your strength in dealing with this obstacle. Wishing you the least impact on your beautiful life. ❤
Eric, as someone who embraces spirituality….” A Course In Miracles” is a great lesson book in awareness……” ….there is no order of difficulty in the Universe”….. 365 daily lessons…. Prayers are offered in your behalf
Eric and Juli, I’m so sorry to hear this. Will be praying for recovery and comfort while you’re going through this. You are down to earth, kind, and caring; no doubt you have good karma coming your way!
I really respect and love the spirit of you two,. Your willingness to share your lives and create community is inspiring. I also respect the vibe between you two, you seem like true companions who have each others back. Thank you for sharing and sending good vibes!
I grew up in Buffalo. Your story about growing up in Silicon Valley reminds me of Love Canal disaster at Niagra Falls. I'm glad you're being seen at Queen's. The best hospital in Hawaii.
Thank you for sharing your journey. I am so sorry this is happening but love your positive attitudes which will take you far on your healing journey. I had MOHS surgery in November of 2020 on my nose and interestingly have two in my family in the same place, daughter and sister. I know of at least five people in the same place, and this is in Indiana! Will follow your journey with great interest. The leukemia is a whole different ballgame than we all fought. Best wishes.
Thank you for sharing your story. I know it's not always an easy thing to do. Sending positive vibes your way and hoping you can put all this behind you very soon.
Prayers and a warm hug for both of you coming your way. Eric, please wear a mask when you are in crowds and get plenty of rest. Naps are a good thing! 😊
All Best, Eric. I spent 27 years living and working in Mountain View. Very familiar with the superfunds, Raytheon, Fairchild, etc. As of now, all good. Stay safe, Kona Kahunas.
Mahalo for sharing. I really enjoy your show from the other side of the island! Your personal journey is equally important to us. Sending positive energies across the Mauna!
Eric and Julie, we have loved your content for years and appreciate you sharing your lives with your RUclips ohana. Prayers for you, prayers for healing, prayers for blessings. You may not realize the impact your videos have on those of us who cannot be on island all the time, so just a quick reminder that you are appreciated. 💕🙏🏝️🤙🏼
Lots of healing thoughts coming your way Eric, from Canada. Stay strong, there are lots of effective treatments and new ones coming down the pipe. Take care.
Aloha from da other side of the island🤙🏽Praying for healing my brother,Jesus is the way to true peace that last and the only way we will ever see Heaven. Surrender to His will and pray for healing in His holy name
Dude…. Same age, grew up in San Jose ( near IBM) I’ve had procedures to remove pre- cancer from my face but….. my parents were beach people who took us to Santa Cruz probably before Sun screen was really used much. We now spend multiple months on BI - I slather my face w/ sunscreen & per my derm doc take Heliocare, Thanks for sharing. Hope to run into one day.
I lived in Waikiki for many years, just wanted to say, go have lunch or dinner at the Mariposa restaurant 3rd floor Nieman Marcus (great vibes sit on patio) , get a bbq plate lunch from Yummy's bbq in Ala Moana shopping center.... Hang in there! you got this!
That really sucks living in Hawaii and being extra sun sensitive. I will look for good sales on keffiyeh and thobes. That way, you can still stay cool and also covered. Who knows maybe you can Start a new fashion trend in Kailua-Kona. While you recover? Best wishes on a speedy remission.
Please please please try carnivore diet and fasting. Just look into and its benefits, especially related to cancer and immune system problems. Its SHOCKING!!!
Having been through cancer scares (3 times with only 1 being real) i can tell you that you need a good wife (✔) and good insurance. My chemo (6 sessions) cost just over $871,000. Sorry as a Christian I'm a supporter of Jesus and his teaching. Not a fan of spiritual awareness that isn't based on faith. But I support peoples right to free thinking. Positive thoughts never hurt.
Eric, your talk on the spiritual work was very interesting. In a world dominated by “religion”, I’m very interested in this. Can you offer any leads where to get started?
