In your engine bay, the neck of the oil cap can be taken off and the cap will fit right in place without the cap, there is a video on it if you would like it
Oil consumption, EA113’s have always not been great at how much oil they use, can point toward a number of issues, PCV, piston rings, general leaks - also it is a timing belt and not chain so should be checked regularly if abused frequently - but general on time maintenance is a must for these engines if you want one that’s gonna survive a long life; as well as the usual DV and HPFP cam follower stuff
Oh okay thanks, I have already replaced my timing belt, hpfp and cam follower, vacuum pump, i was going to do the intake cam chain but on VCDS it showed only 1 degree off which i heard is a normal stretch. i think next on my list is catch can, oil filter housing gasket and valve cover gasket as there’s some leaks
The driver is currently gaining weight so that’s unlikely 🫣 I may delete the rear seats and cargo storage stuff in the trunk (tools and such) as the back seats are almost completely useless and I don’t know anyone who will be back there that fit the 5”1 height restriction 😂

Not one that’s gonna actually do anything. The sprays are a joke, unless you do a carbon cleaning and then install water meth
Just dove in to mine and it is a MESS at a meagre 73k miles (about 120km)
