- Here is a 2 damage spell book run on wizard. The new wizard buffs to Fire Mastery are quite nice. Glad to see haste get some move speed back. The anti heal is very nice to counter clerics, fighters, and buff ball comps which is super nice since damage got gutted and kill time got increased.

In the beginning of the video you said you heard a whisp go off but there’s a whisp that kills it’s self under that spawn every game that’s what you heard btw
Those loose trousers only drop your move speed by 2 after the agility and give you much needed armor since at low end increasing armor has much more % reduction
It actually only drops his move speed by 1 as when you have 0-15 agility points you gain 2 move speed versus if you have 15-45 agility any agi you gain in that bracket then only gives you 1 move speed

1:25 Not sure if they fixed this bug or not, but there is a wisp that is spawning in the underground tunnels that you access by dropping inside the well, and it always dies to the traps at the beginning of the game and makes a wisp noise

i know you mostly wizroll but, maybe you could do a challenge run with a ranger using hunters traps and explosive bottles/oil lanterns? :D could make for some pretty toxic fun

Hey Red, I've been having a lot of fun with Tank wizard, even at default! it runs really well with new fire mastery perk/frostbite/shield/cast speed.
I've been enjoying Fireball/zap/ignite/haste/(flex) missiles or lighting strike.
So long as you get the ignite off and shield you can take other defaults in goblin cave without them expecting a wizard to melee XD
Holy shit my guy. I've been running this since I read your comment and this build smaaacks. Possibly even stronger in caves than the traditonal wizard build.
Edit: Dude. It's really really strong XD. Nobody expects the wizard to go melee range.

@@idkkek8070 you want to get to 112 armor rating IMO (this makes you similar to a slayer fighter, with a little less health on the back end). I like heavy legs and regal gambeson for sure, lots of armor. Then from there you can do heavy boots, leather cap, lizard skin, or reinforced gloves to try to stack a little extra. If you are close or over 112 you can start doing leather gloves, light foot boots, magic hat, etc. I hope this helps, ik I'm not the OP but this is what's been paying me :) Edit: Also you just want a stick IMO. Sword is strong but is really really slow. Stick is a nice medium with still a lot of damage. No need for a book at all with this build!!! EDDDDITTTTT: ALSO MAKE SURE TO HASTE AND IGNITE BEFORE FIGHT. ACTION SPEED FROM HASTE IS HUUUUUGE

I'm always amazed at how quickly Red can identify enemies by either hearing them and instantly knowing the class or just spotting them. How do you do it?

I feel like all I fight is rangers and fighters with crossbow. How do you beat either of these? I know we can easily kite a pdr crossbow fighter, but they can still 2 shot us.
Wizard can use crossbow too. We just choose not to because we love casting spells.

i feel like his game is so much brighter, even the shadows. i cant see anything 90% of the time is this just ingame gamma adjustments?
On my obs I adjust gamma slightly for recording for a better viewing experience. For me it's pretty dark.

Fire mastery is really nice. I thought it was good already tbh but now it’s almost required with zap and fireball. Believe ignites works with it too.
ignite doesnt makes your target "burning" status, it just gives your weapon extra fire dmg on heat

@@alekzanderor5489 actually it deals a tick of burning so with fire mastery it deals 3 i think similar to zap
Don't know how true this is but in the server i saw alot of people in the wizard part saying that fire masterys anti heal doesn't work on fighter but works on field rations and doesnt affect clerics heal unless you specifically hit the cleric it reduces the outgoing healing

ngl wizard is really bad rn. He is best at 3v3's but ranger is so good against him and at doing his job. The nerfs to how fast you're when you cast and haste nerf really made him a sitting duck against anyone with range (3:48 in the vid, if the dude used his bow our boy would be dead) and really not viable in solo's. Wizard still has good damage but often fights take place at chokes where ranger is better due to having longer range phys damage zaps.
Chu8 is a wizard man, has insane gear, rock hr GC, has multiple keys and 4 inventory stash tabs this wipe. Just because you can't make it work, doesn't mean others can't
@@sperrex465 it can work but why put 8 times the effort in? I get that a challenge is fun but i could just do it on fighter and not have to sit around waiting for spells or turn of light to avoid rangers
@@sperrex465doesn't he accept handouts? Last time I swung by he did a few days ago. I don't care if streamers do accept them, but it's not "normal" gameplay in my opinion.
