I haven't seen any of the tracks of The Evil One CD so i thought i may upload them, afterall, roky is so infamous he needs to get a bit in the spotlight.
This is a must have album. Seriously one of my favorite recent discoveries. Wish I had found it years ago. This is one of the finest moments on it. Gritty garage psych.
Naaah, he ain't dead :) He did his job on Earth, now he departed to his home planet. And the next jam session on another planet starts soon, so book your rocket ASAP 😎🚀 . . . . FUCK, i would LOVE to see this guy live one more time
Sad to hear of his passing on. Roky was a gentle genuine genius, he was punished for being who he was, a product of the fooked up system that would not let him be. Much love to you mr. Roky, you were and are my hero. Peace
It's actually about Soviet experiments where they transplanted the head of a puppy onto the body of an adult dog. Don't look it up if you're easily disturbed.
@@jeanettewittstein7656 Loosely based. It still qualifies as having vague and mysterious lyrics, I mean some of it has religious connotations, and mentions classic rock and roll themes. Clearly not simply about that 😅
This is Roky's "Vietnam" song though it touches upon other things, chief among them being Roky's vision of the future, namely NOW (It seems). But it is true that in any time you can believe that it is the time of Roky's prophesy. He references the Soviet experiments, but the song is not about that. And he never once says "I've been working in The Kremlin". He says, "I'd BE working in the Kremlin ...". People tend to hear that wrong. Listen again. I happened to be with him when he wrote this song (and others). Thank You.
So did Jim Morrison and he too died. No amount of money, fame or knowledge will keep any of us from the grave. When you really think about it. Who honestly wants to live forever. After your family, friends and the time you knew fades away. Who are you, what are you and how do you fit in. What is a man who out lives the time of his God?
@@johnnyssik Not the worst answer. But seriously think if everything and everyone that you have ever known went away. How out of place would you feel? I'm sure most elderly people feel that way most of the time.

You were and are a Musical Treasure Roky ..I have listened to you for many moons and each moon my consciousness changes every time ..a lovely transcendence your songs have brought me ..RIP
Roky was a true visionary and pioneer of the music of the 70's. Its a shame that too many things got in the way of fame and success. Talent that never had the opportunity to reach its full potential.
It was my first moment experiencing Roky, ever. A Saturday early evening. north berkeley, a copy of the evil one lp that i checked out from the library that afternoon on a hunch. i put the needle down on the black plastic. a scrrtch and then that great crazy flare-up of guitar. like a demon rooster crowing dawn in hell. and nothing was ever the same after that.
A masterpiece. He was one of the most important and influential artists in my life. A true poet and a maverick. May he rest in peace and his evil maniac of a mother burn in hell 🖤🖤🖤
I saw a documentary about Roky back in 2007! He came out of depression? Then I saw concerts on this show that were badass awesome! Then just now I saw what others posted here.. sounds like he passed away ( !) Bummer! I loved some of his weird songs.. Gonna miss a good one here, and please "Don't Shake Me Lucifer"!

I've been working in the Kremlin
With a two-headed dog
Two headed dog
Two headed dog
I've been working in the Kremlin
With a two-headed dog
Alright
Winds quiet in the night
Her body just blows messiah

Left and right
Is all right?
Does not please my appetite

I've been working in the Kremlin
With a two-headed dog
