Kendrick was ready and outplayed Drake. "Family Matters" was a hot track that was forgotten immediately because "Meet the Grams" dropped less than an hour after it. Also a line like "You right about "Fuck the big three," it's only Big D, and there's video proof" (Family Matters), leads to the believability of the line "They be streamlinin' victims all inside of they home and callin' 'em tender Then leak videos of themselves to further push their agendas" (Meet the Grahams). I also believe Drake wrote all of "The Heart Part 6" with no help, which is why the track is disjointed, contradictory, and leaves a lot more questions than answers.
@lreez977 I have been fortunate to have lived and experienced EVERY major battle in Hip-Hop history and the "intervention" approach of "Meet The Grahams" was masterful and most importantly unique which is saying ALOT for a music and culture that's 50 years strong!
Kendrick slightly won to me but after I saw a very thorough video breakdown of all the meanings behind all the bars on Euphoria, it was a landslide for Kendrick, he was making 4-D chess moves on Drake and his writers.
@@MrMecc it’s a RUclips channel called What’s the dirt, dude does his homework for real! Just found your channel too, it’s good to see you doing your thing outside of the shop, salute brother 🫡.
Mec you a legend in this culture. I actually respect everything you stand for when it comes to Hip-Hop. You always teach me, whenever you talk, I learn. You're one of the reasons why I love this culture.
Me being a fan of hip hop I believe kendricx won due to the fact of him dissing him in multiple styles. That's me I respect your opinion highly as well as math Hoffa who do you think won the battle in this?
The most intellectual take on this whole thing. I love it. You should have also explored the possibility of it being all theatre... Great nonetheless ❤
Bx n az …. My mans n Dem 👍🏿u run dat math show 4 sheezy, keep up da goody work I Support yo butt on da west coast homie wether im in cali Vegas or az …. Need to holla @ you so we can get yo ass out in cali on da Biggs screen know wtf I means 😎 kingsbridge
That beef does not end... the direct exchage might be...but Aubrey gon sneak diss forever.. think about it..all indirect bars from now on..will be called a Kendrick diss. Tbh..i cant listen to kdot without hearing a drake diss now ...even old stuff
Kendricks tea was layered detailed and creative Drake just said what his tea was in punchline format no details just dave free is the father of your son and you hit your wife
Its pretty sad when the best thing that comes out a rap battle is nobody got shot. Anyway, i was entertained as well but, there were just too many corny elements to this battle to name why I can't say its the greatest of all time. It definitely was the biggest battle to date garnering the most attention ever and that was unprecedented. but, it was NOT the best battle and not even in the top 5 imo.
Timing was critical in this beef. Kendrick sped Drake up ultimately leading to the biggest self-own in hiphop history; "The Heart 6" ... He felt pressed to release that garbage because of the fallout. There's light at the end of the tunnel for Drake. When they re-litigate this beef in 10 years' time, Drake will come out on top based on flow.
“Deep verses with layers to them are not wack believe it or not that’s actually hip hop “ … THANK YOU
"Meet the Grahams" sounded like a horror movie
💯
It was

I love pac but the west coast forgot 2 pac was a sex offender
He did a song calling drake a sec offender, when 2 pac was a sex offender and I love pac but that’s facts
"Meet The Grahams" if this is over was the hardest record of the battle and arguably one of the greatest diss records ever in my opinion.
Why do you think that?
@lreez977 I have been fortunate to have lived and experienced EVERY major battle in Hip-Hop history and the "intervention" approach of "Meet The Grahams" was masterful and most importantly unique which is saying ALOT for a music and culture that's 50 years strong!

Pass me a link to the breakdown. Those have been super interesting.

“Without anyone getting shot”
Drakes security guard: hold my beer
Meet the Grahams gave me Eminem Stan vibes. Writing a letter, horror, & etc
I love the fact that you were completely non bias in your analysis
I don't know when he got his own channel, but I'm here for it
Great analysis. Thank you for a real expert opinion. I'm so glad you're doing your own thing now💪🏾 Peace! ✌🏾
Shout to 36 mafia, such a classic
Kendrick won on every metric
Mec you a legend in this culture. I actually respect everything you stand for when it comes to Hip-Hop. You always teach me, whenever you talk, I learn. You're one of the reasons why I love this culture.
Great take & break down
Yooooo, What Up Mr Mecc? Glad I stumbled across this, had no idea. Hey keep going with this man, we'll support! -Detroit
4-1 Kendrick.. great display from drake still
Me being a fan of hip hop I believe kendricx won due to the fact of him dissing him in multiple styles. That's me I respect your opinion highly as well as math Hoffa who do you think won the battle in this?

I'm glad you touched on the fact that k dot all ready spoke on his dv on Mr morale mf act like it was breaking news
No he didn't. He spoke on infidelity but you clearly didn't listen to the album so nvm
Yoooo, Mecca, u still on MEO??? I didnt know you got your own channel, salute, but i hope this doesnt imply you are no longer part of MEO😬😬😬
When you say 2 top tier emcees….you’re referencing Kendrick and who???
That beef does not end... the direct exchage might be...but Aubrey gon sneak diss forever.. think about it..all indirect bars from now on..will be called a Kendrick diss. Tbh..i cant listen to kdot without hearing a drake diss now ...even old stuff
WTF??? After all that, what happened to "brass tacks "? Who won?
Hold on now. It's supposed to be who WRITES BETTTER- As A Rapper. Not who raps the best
What about Drake's security guard?
That’s not one of the artists.
Kendricks tea was layered detailed and creative
Drake just said what his tea was in punchline format no details just dave free is the father of your son and you hit your wife
Who cares
Entertaining and a thought out opinion.
Go solo Mecc. You too smart for M.E.O.
Kendrick won
Everyone check there playlist I bet Drake has more songs on it than Kendrick
The Drake disrespect online is getting out of hand, we gotta give it to him that he didn’t duck the smoke
Yeah, he got credit for that, so what?
Drake fans dont even care he's a weirdo! 😂 kendrick got him on so many levels. Not like us is the only diss track that made me dance!
PAC was a sex offender nobody mentioned that

spoke too soon.
No I didn’t. No artists got shot.
This is a non-take. Very politically correct. You don't need to be polarized, but be honest.. what do you actually think??
Timing was critical in this beef. Kendrick sped Drake up ultimately leading to the biggest self-own in hiphop history; "The Heart 6" ... He felt pressed to release that garbage because of the fallout.

DRAKE WON… OR WINNING. DRAKE NEVER SAID HE QUIT.
Massive L for you for thinking Drake won lol. Drake himself knows he lost and has all but admitted it
Drake won easily
Lies don’t make you win
