Much appreciated. I remember listening to the debut album back in 1977. It was far apart from everthing else that counted as hard rock and metal. Overkill just blew my mind. Probably my favourite album. We will never see their like again.

Fans - Give the last two studio albums, “Aftershock” and “Bad Magic” another listen. Lemmy truly gives you his take on life, his advice, his lessons. No excuses, he lived his life pleasing himself, he did it his way, and louder and better than everyone else. Quality songwriting and musicianship on these final albums. I LOVE THEM.
Completely agree about Aftershock and Bad Magic. Lemmy was sick during this time, yet these albums don’t suffer at all. Both have excellent songs. Aftershock is my personal favorite. 🤘🏼

Good list. I don't agree with every ranking, but then again, I don't have to! Thank you for this list. My top pics are... 1. Bomber - The album has a western feel and a kind of swing with songs like "Lawman". One of my go-to albums. 2. Ace of Spades - In my opinion, as close to a perfect album as Motorhead ever made. Just dirty and raw throughout. 3. Another Perfect Day - I think Robbo's technical brilliance pushed Lemmy and Philthy to play at the top of their game. Sonically their best too. 4. We Are Motorhead - One of their best "metal" albums. Even One More Fecking Time is a slow burning heavy hitter, but I don't like GSTQ. 5. Inferno - Such a heavy hitter from start to finish. And "Whorehouse Blues" lets us down easy. Damn good one. They were Motorhead and they made rock and roll. And there won't be another like them. Rest In Peace them all.
Great bit of work, as always! Your top 5 are the same as mine, albeit in a slightly different order - I have Bomber top, then Ace Of Spades, Another Perfect Day, Overkill then Iron Fist, however all are brilliant albums and whenever I listen to any one of them it tends to move up the list a bit! \m/
Good to see the 1916 album getting some support. While I was aware of the band beforehand, 1916 was the first album from Motorhead I got, and also the first time I saw them live, with Judas Priest and Alice Cooper in '91. There was some "experimentation" on this album, but it actually WORKED. "Love Me Forever" and "Nightmare / The Dreamtime" are both dark, atmospheric tracks that stack up with the band's best. Also, "Shoot You In the Back" from "Ace of Spades" is one of my favorite "deep cuts" from Motorhead.
Whoaaaa, hold your horses. I love “On Parole,” and think it truly shows the birth of Motörhead, and their transition away from Hawkwind. It’s oddly groovy but still kicks quite a bit; and almost feels punk. I love this album and would put it near the top of my list. And I’m a guy who usually listens to extreme black metal and death metal
I think it has too much of that hawkwind vibe and not enough metal, plus it's like a worse version of their debut album so for me it's quite unnecessary.
@@RuthlessMetalYT it’s funny - I kind of think that the revised debut album is almost like one of those unnecessary re-recorded albums like Exodus’ one . . . But to each their own. I do miss the “White Line Fever,” though. Luckily I have both versions in deluxe format :)
Motörhead is my number one favourite band ever, and I think it's basically a nice list. It avoids the snobbish trap of not recognizing the post 1981 stuff 😁. I think most of their 90s albums, and especially the Cameron Webb produced albums beginning with Inferno, are excellent. I never could make a full ranking (though I own all the studio and the official live albums on CD), but my TOP 3 in no particular order: - Overkill - Another Perfect Day - Inferno 😎👍
Nice work! My top 10 Motorhead studio albums... 1. Overkill 2. Ace Of Spades 3. Bomber 4. Sacrifice 5. Motorhead 6. Bastards 7. Iron Fist 8. Orgasmatron 9. 1916 10. Rock And Roll. My overall favorite Motorhead release, however, is No Sleep 'til Hammersmith. And two of my favorite songs don't appear on the albums..."Killed By Death" and "Just 'cos You Got The Power". Cheers!
These Rank em All videos are brilliant. Your dedication and way you present them is A class. I don't even like this type of ranking videos mostly, but you do it so well I'm hooked on these. BTW I just realized you haven't yet done Helloween... At least I couldn't find that... Which, I admit, was why I got to comment right now... Sorry, I know these must tremendous work, but can't wait for that one! Keep it up and Cheers!
Thanks man, I appreciate it. :) Yeah I haven't done them, maybe some day, they are a band that I haven't listened that much to besides a few albums. :) Cheers!
Love your video. Motörhead are amongst my top 5 fave bands of all time and I love to hear someone go into detail album by album. Great stuff, even tho I’d put “On Parole” quite a bit higher than LAST PLACE.
Excellent video as always, sir! Motorhead is a tricky band to rate for me, I've been listening to their latter day stuff quite a lot these past few years (Overnight Sensation gets a lot of plays for whatever reason), but one can't deny the impact or quality of the Bombers and the Overkills etc. Cheers!
Rank em all is back and life is good! IMO your list is pretty much spot on. I personally would have 1916 a little higher though, as that album was my first introduction to motorhead and the first time I got to see them live. No Voices in the Sky is probably their most underrated song. Cheers!
Solid list. Motorhead had some stellar points in their career. When I was coming up in the 80's & 90's Motorhead was loved by metal heads of every stripe.
Great list! Difficult task. I did this awhile ago on paper and it wasn't easy. Also haven't heard every single album from beginning to end. Nevertheless, great band. 1916 was my introduction to the band in the early 90s. I liked that album a lot I remember. My very favorites today are Another Perfect day, Inferno, 1916, Overkill, Orgasmatron, Aftershock and Ace of Spades. So many great songs from such a legendary band....cheers 🤘🍻
For me Motörhead is really the bridge between traditional heavy metal and what we will later call speed / thrash metal, they are really important in the history of metal because they are the precursors of what will happen to it then years decades later extreme metal 🔥🤘🔥.
1 - Ace Of Spades, 2 - Overkill, 3 - No Sleep Til Hammersmith, after that, take your pick. Only Bomber, Orgasmatron & Inferno do it for me. Legendary band though.
One of my favorite bands ever. Very solid, true to the roots of rock. My number one is also Overkill - it was my first Motorhead album I ever heard. Anyway, my top 5: 1. Overkill 2. Bomber 3. Another Perfect Day 4. 1916 5. Ace Of Spades
I own every Motorhead album and I love all era's, but the original 3 were killer. Rip Lemmy, Phil, Fast Eddie, Wurzel. Overkill and Another Perfect Day are my favorite.
Me gustó mucho tu ranking de albums porque creo que está bien argumentado, he sido y soy un fanático de la banda por más de 40 años y coincido totalmente en la posición que le has dado a los cinco mejores discos.
I have always loved Motorhead. Overkill, 1916, Bastards, and Motorizer are my favorites. The band always are in top form live. No Class, Ace Of Spades, and Iron Fist are great songs. I have seen the videos they did and are always worth seeing.
Hats off to you for being able to rank this discography at all. 22 albums and none of 'em are bad. Motorhead don't do bad albums. Some are weaker ofc, but none are bad. Not gonna rank it, but I will say that I'm also a huge fan of the Overkill album. I'd actually put that one and bomber above ace of spades. But the rest? No chance I'm ranking 'em in any order.
Before my son was born, I liked the band, but wasn’t a fan. Now, he’s nine, absolutely loves the band, and by association now I love the band more so than before and listen to Lemmy at least an hour or more per day. 🤘🤘 Great list and rankings brother!
Nice to see "Another Perfect Day" getting love in the comments. Definitely Top 4, well done Ruthless. Love all the tracks, however "Marching Off to War" is a fav.
Thank You so much for Your video, Love LEMMY and MOTORHEAD madly, so for me all albums are cool, Love them all, My favorite are INFERNO, NO SLEEP TILL HAMMERSMITH, OVERKILL, BAD MAGIC, ORGASMATRON, THE WORLD IS YOURS, 1916, And my favorite song is Iron horse /Born to lose (cause this song describes my motivations when I ride my bike) Don't wanna say R, I, P, LEMMY LEGENDS NEVER DIE
My bests are (not in order): Sacrifice, Another perfect day, Orgasmatron, We are Motorhead (probably their last good LP together Inferno) and Overnight sensation. Also I really like No sleep 'til Hammersmith, one of the best rock/metal live at all.
i know you’re more of a thrash guy than a death metal guy, but you should rank morbid angel. one of the best and most influential death metal bands of all time, right up there with death themselves.
Thanks, especially for 'Overkill' as #1. There's no doubt 'Ace of spades' is a great album but 'Overkill' is the album that was ahead of it's time (as for me).
Motorhead is far and away my favorite band, and this is a good ranking. I could quibble with a few things, o' course (I love On Parole, although I know that's personal and it's fair to consider it their worst), but there will always be quibbles. Overall I think you did a good job with a tough task. There are no bad Motorhead albums. Like AC/DC, you have better and you have worse, but they never really let you down. And Another Perfect Day is a strange one. When I first got it I was disappointed in it, but over time it's become one of my favorite Motorhead albums. The songwriting on that one was especially strong, & Brian Robertson's guitar works is great, even if it's more melodic than typical Motorhead. My fave moment, in the title track, where Robertson plays a really pretty, delicate intro, and then Lemmy's huge ugly bass comes in and just stomp-stomp-stomps on it! it's like watching the "Bambi Vs. Godzilla" cartoon. Always makes me laugh. :)
Great list , Ruthless My favorite band of all time. My favorite top 5 1- Overkill 2- Ace of Spades 3- Bomber 4- Another Perfext Day 5- Motorhead ( s/t )
Nice ranking, so many great albums. 22. March or Die 21. Rock n Roll 20. Snake Bite Love 19. The Worls is Yours 18. Hammered 17. We Are Motorhead 16. Motorhead 15. Sacrifice 14. Kiss of Death 13. Bad Magic 12. Inferno 11. Iron Fist 10. Aftershock 9. Ace of Spades 8. Bomber 7. Motorizer 6. Orgasmatron 5. Overnight Sensation 4. Bastards 3. Another Perfect Day 2. 1916 1. Overkill
wooooow a surprise, for me, about Inferno and Bastards (I am gonna listen one more time, each one, with more attention) but absolutely no surprise about the top 5! Excellent
So I searched RUclips for ‘Assassin’. Motörhead sure developed their own style. I remember the ‘Cat Scratch Fever’ cover song and the song Lemmy did with Ozzy. They were interesting and good.
March Or Die found Motorhead trying to do the nice album, and they did a good job at that, since it's really a nice album, good songs, good cover versions and even nice vocals by Lemmy, i guess the core fans of the band prefered the row and dirty sound of the band, the album had some success on the European charts, anyway, i think that you did a good job with your ranking, thanks and all the best.
🤘Incredible video🤘Motorhead ever my favorite band🤘Overkill Bomber Ace of spades 1916 Inferno Bastards Kiss of death Another prefect day Iron fist n' March or die are my favorites albumns🤘
Motörhead is, bar none, my favorite band of all. Ironically enough, The Wörld is Yours and On Parole were the first two Motörhead albums I’d ever heard, so they’ve always had a soft spot in my heart. Though I confess there are better ones, I still dig them.
Great Review I also Agree (Overkill) Is there Best Album # And it's Cool that (Another Perfect Day) And (Orgasmatron) placed so High in the Rankings !..
Oh WOW Motorhead is one of my favotite 80's Metal Band!!The best Motorhead was Live at Hammersmith,No Remorse, for the first periode and i like the sound of Inferno!!!🤘🤘🤘
Recommended Lemmy albums : Sam Gopal album Escalator from 1969 Lem plays guitar and vocals, Hawkwind's famous Silver Machine single and albums Doremi Faso Latido from 1972, the live double lp Space Ritual from 1973, Hall Of The Mountain Grill from 1974 and Warrior On The Edge Of Time from 1975. All Motorhead albums, singles and live bootlegs from 1975 to 1986 (Orgasmatron) are essential listening. After that they start to become a brand not a band , too samey mc samey, although the live shows were good till early 2000's. Once Lem started wearing a hat ,you knew the best years were behind you.
I think I’m a bit bias since I’m a lizzy fan but I really loved how different and melodic the album was and I was already used to Robbo’s playing but I’d put put another perfect day in rank 2 with overkill being 1 and ace of spades in 3 bomber in 4th
Good list - the 1st album I bought was Iron Fist, and then Another Perfect Day, which was like my favorite album for years and years. I lived in Anchorage Alaska in the early 1980s so finding the first 4 albums in any afforadable way kept them out of my reach - so yeah, NO REMORSE was super important to me in the 1980s. With 4 new songs i count it in my top 10 of Motorhead albums. FYI - the only album by them I don't like is March Or Die - the obvious attempt by the record label to make MH commerical is a painful listen for me.
Question: long time punk fan/metal head since 88, but tragically I've never given Motorhead more than a cursory listen - where should I start? A greatest hits? Or just work off this list?
Imagine if "On Parole" was released when it was recorded. There wasn't much that sounded like it at the time. Except for maybe The Dictators or New York Dolls.
Righteous! I was afraid for awhile that you might choose Ace of Spades as #1. Thank you for not doing so. Overkill is indeed their best lp. And contains my favorite song Capricorn. Yes I am a capricorn lol. 2nd best tho imo is Another Perfect Day. Then the rest which changes for me all the time. Cheers
I know Motorhead is an influential metal band, but I didn't get to listen to much of their albums. I can check this to see which could be recommended and which could be bad. Asides their classics, I once considered Inferno to be among their finest. Overall, not their best but it's still a good and rocking Motorhead record. Sure Ace of Spades is a bonafide Motorhead album, I actually consider Overkill to be their best classic album before the more well-known Ace of Spades. What it is makes it a precursor to what would be Thrash metal. I did listen to Hammered and it's actually the first full Motorhead album I listened. The song Brave New World is awesome and is also the first Motorhead song I ever heard, the rest aren't that memorable. Let me say, hail to Lemmy! You got to admire him being true to being heavy and rock n roll, keeping true to his art and musical integrity despite the different musical climates.
The reason why Lemmy was already in his 30s by the time Motorhead was formed was because he had already been in the music industry since the mid 1960s. In fact, Motorhead was the name of a song by his prior band, Hawkwind. That's how he got the name in the first place.
My favorite Motorhead songs Talking Head Iron Horse ( with Mr Wallis) Keep Us On the Road the Watcher Metropolis No Class Deadman Tell No Tales I Don't Need Religion Two Track Mind Capricorn Lawman the Chase is Better than the Catch Lost Johnny ( I prefer the original Hawkwind version) Nightmare ( 1916 album, the only song I like from Motorhead beyond Another Perfect Day) Another Perfect Day I Got Mine White Negro Flies
Miss hearing Motorhead will never be another band like them! Heres mine from worst to best. 23. Snakebite Love 22. March or Die 21. Rock n Roll 20. Overnight Sensation 19. Bad Magic 18. On Parole 17. Motorizer 16. Aftershock 15. Orgasmatron 14. Motorhead 13. The World is Yours 12. We Are Motorhead 11. Kiss of Death 10. Ironfist 9. Hammered 8. Inferno 7. Bomber 6. Another Perfect Day 5. Bastards 4. 1916 3. Ace of Spades 2. Sacrifice 1. Overkill
Awesome! I would personally put most of the 21st century albums a lot higher though, and Iron Fist and Rock N Roll way lower (they've just never clicked with me somehow)
@@RuthlessMetalYT Oh it's definitely one of their best tracks! Sex and Outrage, America and Bang to Rights are killer tracks too, and there are a few more that I like. Maybe I'm being unnecessarily judgemental towards it because of where it sits within their discography, but the album as a whole just feels on a level below the three albums that came before it and the two that came after. I'm not saying it's a bad album, but I'd probably place it somewhere around the 10-12th place.
On Parole, Snakebite Love, The World is Yours, We Are Motorhead and Rock n Roll are probably at the bottom of my list Then Would be Bad Magic, people seemed to like that one but I didn't really feel it. Despite it being their last one. Overnight Sensation ranks high on my list as does Kiss of Death and Hammered which you didnt seem to dig. Another Perfect Day, Overkill, Ace of Spades, Bomber, Sacrifice and Inferno are top tier. The rest just kinda fall into place. I think Aftershock is my favorite of the last 3 they did and Motorizer is solid.
Much appreciated. I remember listening to the debut album back in 1977. It was far apart from everthing else that counted as hard rock and metal. Overkill just blew my mind. Probably my favourite album. We will never see their like again.

Great stuff, even tho I’d put “On Parole” quite a bit higher than LAST PLACE.
thanks boss!
Interesting listing. Nice to see "Bastards" and "Another Perfect Day" get some praise. Possibly the two most underrated albums in their discography.
🤘 Stay clean! Cheers!
Bastards is one of my favorites too. Certain way too underappreciated!
Mate that was cool!. Think you done a pretty fair ranking there 🤘
Thanks boss! 🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
Cheers!
Cheers!
Rank em all is back and life is good! IMO your list is pretty much spot on. I personally would have 1916 a little higher though, as that album was my first introduction to motorhead and the first time I got to see them live. No Voices in the Sky is probably their most underrated song. Cheers!
Thanks boss! Cheers!
Solid list. Motorhead had some stellar points in their career. When I was coming up in the 80's & 90's Motorhead was loved by metal heads of every stripe.
🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
and Punk rockers
Nice work! Best heavy metal channel on youtube! A voïvod rank em all video would made another perfect day for me..
Thanks boss!
Cheers! 🤘🍻
Thank you!!! You finally did it ive been waiting for months
Thanks 🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
Good ranking Mr. Ruthless! Hello from Ireland.
Thank you Sir! Cheers!
I've been looking forward to this! Thanks for finally releasing the video 🤘
It took some time but hey, can't do 'em all in the first couple of weeks, gotta save some bands for later. hehe 🤘
For me Motörhead is really the bridge between traditional heavy metal and what we will later call speed / thrash metal, they are really important in the history of metal because they are the precursors of what will happen to it then years decades later extreme metal 🔥🤘🔥.
yes sir
1 - Ace Of Spades, 2 - Overkill, 3 - No Sleep Til Hammersmith, after that, take your pick. Only Bomber, Orgasmatron & Inferno do it for me. Legendary band though.
Cheers!
One of my favorite bands ever. Very solid, true to the roots of rock. My number one is also Overkill - it was my first Motorhead album I ever heard. Anyway, my top 5:
1. Overkill
2. Bomber
3. Another Perfect Day
4. 1916
5. Ace Of Spades
🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
I own every Motorhead album and I love all era's, but the original 3 were killer. Rip Lemmy, Phil, Fast Eddie, Wurzel. Overkill and Another Perfect Day are my favorite.
Cheers!
I remember being a kid - in a record store - to buy an average album -
I saw the “Hammersmith” album. Looked and looked at it. Bought it.
hehe nice
Me gustó mucho tu ranking de albums porque creo que está bien argumentado, he sido y soy un fanático de la banda por más de 40 años y coincido totalmente en la posición que le has dado a los cinco mejores discos.
Cheers!
I have always loved Motorhead. Overkill, 1916, Bastards, and Motorizer are my favorites. The band always are in top form live. No Class, Ace Of Spades, and Iron Fist are great songs. I have seen the videos they did and are always worth seeing.
Cheers!
Thanks man, good job ✌️it was time to a Motorhead ranking
Cheers!
My Top 5
Ace of Spades
Overkill
Another Perfect Day
Bomber
Orgasmatron
Thanks for your list and the work involved!
Cheers!
No chance I'm ranking 'em in any order.
hehe 🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
Before my son was born, I liked the band, but wasn’t a fan.
Now, he’s nine, absolutely loves the band, and by association now I love the band more so than before and listen to Lemmy at least an hour or more per day. 🤘🤘
Great list and rankings brother!
hehe, good stuff, cheers.
Nice to see "Another Perfect Day" getting love in the comments. Definitely Top 4, well done Ruthless. Love all the tracks, however "Marching Off to War" is a fav.
🤘 Stay clean! Cheers!
Great to see Another Perfect Day so high on the list, I only heard it for the first time a few years ago but I agree it's up there with their best.
Nice, cheerios!
Awesome project, so many albums to discover and ranks
🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
Great work reviewing this kick ass bands awesome albums
thanks!
Thank You so much for Your video, Love LEMMY and MOTORHEAD madly, so for me all albums are cool, Love them all, My favorite are INFERNO, NO SLEEP TILL HAMMERSMITH, OVERKILL, BAD MAGIC, ORGASMATRON, THE WORLD IS YOURS, 1916, And my favorite song is Iron horse /Born to lose (cause this song describes my motivations when I ride my bike)
Don't wanna say R, I, P, LEMMY
LEGENDS NEVER DIE
Thank you! glad you liked it. Cheers! and RIP Motörhead.
AWESOME VIDEO PERFECT ORDER !!! THANKS EXCELLENT BAND !!!
cheers
My bests are (not in order): Sacrifice, Another perfect day, Orgasmatron, We are Motorhead (probably their last good LP together Inferno) and Overnight sensation. Also I really like No sleep 'til Hammersmith, one of the best rock/metal live at all.
🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
i know you’re more of a thrash guy than a death metal guy, but you should rank morbid angel. one of the best and most influential death metal bands of all time, right up there with death themselves.
Yeah I know but I've pretty much just listened to the debut so that would take a lot of effort to listen to every album like 10 titmes over. :D
@@RuthlessMetalYT the debut is definitely the best but blessed are the sick and covenant are just as amazing imo, worth checking out!
Excellemt work, cheers
thx, Cheers!
Fourth spot for Another Perfect Day is most welcome, a severely underrated album!
yes sir, cheerios
Thanks, especially for 'Overkill' as #1. There's no doubt 'Ace of spades' is a great album but 'Overkill' is the album that was ahead of it's time (as for me).
🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
🤘🤘
Excellent I enjoyed this! Great to see inferno up there!
Thank you! 🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
The Best Motörhead Album of all time is…all of them.
We are Motörhead!
And we play Rock and Roll!
cheers
Thank you. I've been listening to Motorhead since the early 80's but I don't have a favorite but my top ranking would be similar to your top 4.
Cheers!
Good stuff! Had an Iron Fist patch at the time.
Cheers! 🤘🍻
Excellent ranking!!
Thanks! 🤘 Stay clean! Cheers!
Many thanks for this !

wooooow a surprise, for me, about Inferno and Bastards (I am gonna listen one more time, each one, with more attention) but absolutely no surprise about the top 5! Excellent
🤘 Stay clean! Cheers!
OVERKILL is the 2nd metal LP I ever bought back in 1981 (was 14 then) and you're right it's their ABSOLUTE BEST EVER
Nice. good choice, cheers!
So I searched RUclips for ‘Assassin’. Motörhead sure developed their own style. I remember the ‘Cat Scratch Fever’ cover song and the song Lemmy did with Ozzy. They were interesting and good.
🤘 Cheers!
March Or Die found Motorhead trying to do the nice album, and they did a good job at that, since it's really a nice album, good songs, good cover versions and even nice vocals by Lemmy, i guess the core fans of the band prefered the row and dirty sound of the band, the album had some success on the European charts, anyway, i think that you did a good job with your ranking, thanks and all the best.
thanks and cheers

Motörhead is, bar none, my favorite band of all. Ironically enough, The Wörld is Yours and On Parole were the first two Motörhead albums I’d ever heard, so they’ve always had a soft spot in my heart. Though I confess there are better ones, I still dig them.
cheers
on parole is one of my fav 70s albums with larry wallis, snake bite love is tough
cheers
Great Review I also Agree (Overkill)
Is there Best Album # And it's
Cool that (Another Perfect Day)
And (Orgasmatron) placed so
High in the Rankings !..

Oh WOW Motorhead is one of my favotite 80's Metal Band!!The best Motorhead was Live at Hammersmith,No Remorse, for the first periode and i like the sound of Inferno!!!🤘🤘🤘
Cheers!
all of these covers (were not talking about overnight sensation) are so fucking good, its so badass and war pig fits then so well.
cheers
🤘 Stay clean! Cheers!
I think I’m a bit bias since I’m a lizzy fan but I really loved how different and melodic the album was and I was already used to Robbo’s playing but I’d put put another perfect day in rank 2 with overkill being 1 and ace of spades in 3 bomber in 4th
Cheers!
Cheers!
Question: long time punk fan/metal head since 88, but tragically I've never given Motorhead more than a cursory listen - where should I start? A greatest hits? Or just work off this list?
start from the top and work yourself down. ;) 🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
Great video
thx
Imagine if "On Parole" was released when it was recorded. There wasn't much that sounded like it at the time. Except for maybe The Dictators or New York Dolls.
🤘 Stay clean! Cheers!
@@RuthlessMetalYT I'll try, but she's jail bait and I just can't wait!
Cheers
Cheers!
Another Perfect Day is my number one
Cheers!
I agree with ranking - However I do not think Punk and Metal are enemies , rather overlapping which is why Ramones and Motörhead were good friends .
Yeah, but there were a lot of metal bands that didn't like punkers, there were often fights back in the day between the camps. 🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
🤘 Stay clean! Cheers!
The reason why Lemmy was already in his 30s by the time Motorhead was formed was because he had already been in the music industry since the mid 1960s. In fact, Motorhead was the name of a song by his prior band, Hawkwind. That's how he got the name in the first place.
🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
He worked as a roadie for Jimi Hendrix
Lets go. I fkn love motörhead!!! Great band

Iron Horse ( with Mr Wallis)
Keep Us On the Road

Awesome! I would personally put most of the 21st century albums a lot higher though, and Iron Fist and Rock N Roll way lower (they've just never clicked with me somehow)
Yeah I like Iron Fist, the title track is one of their best songs even if the full album ain't perfect. 🤘 Stay Clean! Cheers!
I'm not saying it's a bad album, but I'd probably place it somewhere around the 10-12th place.
yeah I can agree with that. Cheers!
What about No Sleep Till Hammersmith.
i dont rank live albums
Still a great album. Thanks for the quick reply. Been a Motorhead fan from the beginning.
yeah but it's like comparing best off albums with studio albums which is unfair. ;) Nice, Stay clean! ;) Cheers!
On Parole, Snakebite Love, The World is Yours, We Are Motorhead and Rock n Roll are probably at the bottom of my list
Then Would be Bad Magic, people seemed to like that one but I didn't really feel it.
