I was planning on getting Deepcool Macube 110 case but the front glass of Matrexx 50 got my eye for RGB fan to install I just wanna know hows the the steel and glass quality of Matrexx 50 case and the airflow
Hello!! This case was actually fantastic to work with. The quality was awesome. One thing I mentioned in the video was the steel carrier for the hard drives. That’s one of those things that most companies have moved away from to go to a cheaper plastic. As far as the glass, I understand where you’re coming from. Most sealed glass side cases have relatively poor airflow but in this case it seems to have fantastic airflow. After the video I did install two more fans the top to pull air out of the case but I don’t really think they were necessary. Thanks for watching!
Lol I appreciate both your shirt and that background of motherboards, everyone else has the stereotypical boxes of random hardware. Anyway, I have this case, the price vs quality is absolutely amazing. My only complaint is the front airflow, the glass is more show than performance, but high speed case fans work just fine.
@@AlternateArmsSD That's awesome, love it. Been PC gaming since 95 and wish I had the same idea back then. All my motherboards ended up in a recycling bin, lol.
@@TheRedRaven_ Heh, Ive kept everything.. Infact, My actual first computer (a commodore VIC20) is on that wall. I really need to do an episode with a few of those stories.. Some of them are nuts.

great video, I have the same case love it. should have bought a 2.5" sata drive could have more space and the difference in speed will only matter if you are transfering a lot of data. please also say what type of m.2 is it? m.2 sata or m.2 nvme? m.2 is just the connection type but not the IO/data type.sata or nvme
Thanks man! It was a great case for sure! I was using an M.2 NVME drive. I have another interesting brand to test on the next build. Thanks for watching and welcome to the family!
Ok, You CAN... It should fit without too many issues. Thanks being said... I'll be the first to admit that I'm less of a water cooling fan than some. There are so many, VERY efficient and effective, cooling solutions that are easier, cheaper, and more dependable. Have a great night!
@@wowfoelifewarcrack3297 Its all about time and usage. Over time the seals will degrade and have to be replaced. Also, even on a closed system, you do get a certain amount of evaporation. Don't get me wrong, cooling is cooling and I love the AIO look.

I couldn't agree more. (I installed 3 more after this video) My goal is always to demo cases exactly as I receive them and, presumably, exactly how you'd receive them. This case has tons of expandability and upgradability which is what I think they had in mind when designing it. Thanks for watching and welcome to the family!
Hey Man! Yeah, its a solid case for sure. I really wish we could have put a better video card in this system, that card just doesn't do it justice. The good news is that it will be an easy upgrade in the future ;)
Hehe we still do. Some of the cooling fans have pre applied thermal paste. It works fine but if you change it you'd obviously clean off the old and install new paste :) Thanks for watching and welcome to the family!
It was sssssoooo close and I did scratch my hand a time or two but it did fit :) I’m not sure You could squeeze anything larger in but this is a very large board. Thanks for watching!!
You sure can. The differences in motherboards will change that. Most motherboards have at least one or two display ports and in some cases a DVI port. Thanks for watching and welcome to the family!
It was actually fantastic airflow throughout the case which surprised me a bit considering all front intake air flow is coming from those grills on the side. Now, I’m an over cooler, so I did end up putting fans on the top to pull air out as well but I don’t think that would’ve been necessary. Thanks for watching!
Video cards are like candy ...everyone wants them lol...Deepcool lol ...decent mid system all he needs to do later is upgrade the card. By the way love the filled out background.
Agreed! This was a VERY tight budget machine and he refused to use 2nd hand parts. (That was my suggestion as well). Afterwards, he found a decent RX580 and we installed that. Thanks for watching and welcome to the family!

@@kingmusik8901 you shouldn’t have any issues. I believe that’s more cosmetic than functional.
How could you improve the front panels airflow DIY
That small spacing is the real issue. I suppose you COULD space the front a few MM to give it some more air flow..

Does the power button flicker when the pc is on
Not that I've noticed.. Unless you connected it to the hard drive led pins instead of the power pins. That would certainly cause that.
this case should have 4 coolers on it.why does it have only one in your case?

Did you need to use standoffs with the case screw holes?
Yes indeed. I had to move two in due to the small size of the motherboard.
