Food inflation remains stubbornly high at 16.5% and higher than most other European countries. Inflation is expected so show a small fall drop but for most people, the cost of living crisis is set to get worse. So, what can you do to combat rising prices, mortgage rates and rents?

The government knows. They aren't committed to attacking inflation. They are going to continue to inflate, stocks and commodities will continue to go up with everything else. You can't just sit on cash waiting for a crash, get your money working for you, start buying in slowly and then gradually increase the pace of buying as the prices continue to drop.

I love the fact on pmqs today, sunak said that labour would make the economy worse because they would borrow to reinvest in infrastructure. Is that such a bad idea? Is it Worse than austerity, degrading growth? Worse than brexit, that reduced production and farming in this country that reduced our gdp by 5%. Worse than liz truss' uncosted tax breaks for the rich which lead to the souring of bond levels and a 60 billion black hole in the countries budget? Worse than allowing 21 billion in fraud, 30 billion on a useless track and trace, worse than printing 900 billion in quantitative easing that was dealt out to the wealthiest people in the country? Worse than selling of portions of the nhs to private companies, at a discount, with the idea that this somehow would be sound money, even though people with poor health would be unintentionally a burden to society? Worse than reducing public funding under the belief that somehow the wealth accumulation of the wealthy would somehow benefit everyone? Worse than keeping immigrant workers out of the country which adds to the lack of growth in our economy and tax system? They need to go.

House prices became ridiculous selling at between double to triple the inflation adjusted historic norm. This housing bubble has been created through the abuse of ultra cheap debt which is now dragging down the whole economy. They need to allow the housing market to crash by 30-50% so prices go back to realistic levels. Data shows the so called housing shortage is actually not as big an issue as people think. The government are now out of options to try and prop the market up as any attempt to help would add more inflationary pressures and could cause gilt yields to soar again and lead to a run on the pound. I’d be dumping property investments and any shares in the banks right now, both are on borrowed time and the fallout is likely to be far worse than the financial crisis. They should never have allowed the house prices to become so out of touch with reality, this was always going to eventually happen. Just have to feel sorry for those who have bought in the last 10 years.
China is also likely to invade Taiwan in the next 2 years which will cause a huge increase in inflation.

You have millionaire news presenters telling how bad poor people must feel just to stroke their own egos. That's what happens when rich people only have rich people as friends. If they had poor friends and knew just how bad they had it they would cry from disbelief if they had a heart

The definition of madness is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result . We should be pointing this fact to the BOE . Interest rates are the main cause of inflation that started with Liz Truss's attempt to giveaway money to the already rich .

Yes that's right Liz Truss caused the worldwide increase in interest rates. Do you think the billionaire controlled establishment media would have turned on Truss like they did if she was doing them a favour? I worked in the city for 20 years, Sunak and Starmer are 'our' guys, Truss and Boris aren't.

It< makes sense, BTC and crypto is off helping to regulate, rather than pretend it won't ever happen. The big institutions getting in is the catalyst that will launch us into the stratosphere. Most people don't like change but after the change is made they grow used to it and it becomes a non issue usually because their fears never materialize. The projects that initiated the process of regulation have not been ruined, they got involved in setting guidelines and helping the regulators understand the crypto space. I’d get involved more knowing that I have made over 8.2 btc and 12ETH from day-trade with *Elizabeth* *Warran* *Jacob* Crypto in few weeks
