Also since it never happened in the playthrough because who wants to go back to Black Gulch, the other Guts sword I was talking about is called the Crypt Blacksword. It's pretty cool.
Congrats on making it through all of Dark Souls! This last leg of the journey was neat since I got to experience it for the first time alongside you, playing through it myself. I'm glad I did since, despite not liking it as much as 1 and 3, it was still a good game with a lot of great idea and I think you reached a similar conclusion. in particular to you for beating the frozen outskirts and Alonne a lot faster than me . On another topic, I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed to hear that you won't be covering Stellar Stellar in English anymore. You've said several times how important that song is to you and to see you quietly dropping it is sad to see on a few levels. Even if I understand the reasons, its still not great to hear especially since you've stated how committed you are right now to cementing your singing style with your current cover song output and have the time to do so (if I recall, you aren't allowed to release covers during album/ep releases). Finally covering the song that meant so much to you in your own style and lyrics would have been the crowning gem of this process and I hope that you will reconsider or maybe even help contribute to the writing of the cover with the other EN who is working on it. That being said, I'm still looking forward to all you have in store for us in 2025

Gutslope had finally defeated the dark souls 2 dlc and instead of destroying the world, he left the world to it's own devices and the world began to solve it's own problem. And then Cali had a QR code on her head and there was much cheering for we had TWO headpat modes. We then packed our bags and left, maybe going into Demon souls one day. At this point I don't know but this stream was a lot of fun, now I will question why in the years we had Isekai, no protagonist tries to use two broadswords and finally just an awesome job Calli. The Abdicate ending lets you try to find another way to transcend the cycle like Vendrick and Aldia. Vendrick took his clothes off in the Crypt to try and become a True Dragon (like Logan, or Ricard, or Mildred, or Quelaag); Velstadt wears scale-mail in reference to his dragon association, they are both also guarded by a Dragonrider.

Calli inspired me to play DS2 again. I struggled greatly at first, all the same, but after a while... I got into the groove and had fun too. I even managed to beat all the DLC and all bosses, which I never did before. I'm glad I've done it and I'll be glad to play Demon Souls for the first time along with her as well.

she did it! DS2 gets a lot of flak for a lot of reasons, but that ivory king fight makes up for a lot by itself (almost completely balanced with frozen outskirts on the negative side)
