Kanella this is so beautiful as you are!!! you have taught us a lesson to have the courage to at least try what might be a challenge to most of us. This piece is STUNNING!
Wow... I came across this video that you did two years ago and I had to laugh at the difference between your artistic styles of then and now. One thing I have learned from Olga Soby is that even after you've blown out the paints you can still add little spots of paint and blow it (by dryer or mouth) to add/enhance colour and detail where you think there should be more. It's great to see the journey and transformation of an artist and their techniques through the videos they share. 😊❤🙏🇦🇺🐨
I don’t like straws either - they also leave a little tunnel, which will heal over but you end up with a line. Those colours are gorgeous Kanella! Well done on your first big Dutch Pour. It looks so easy from this side of the screen, but it’s all about how you prepare the paint - well, in my case that was the hardest learning curve. It’s really hard to blow when our breasts get in the way! I always manage to leave a blank bit on the side and a horizontal stripe across my top! I’m glad you didn’t do any more blowing. As my kids say, “Step away from the canvas” when they like it.
Absolutely stunning, I’m no artist but I know what I like and I think you should start doing some other big pieces as if this is your first attempt we all have a lot of great watching in store. Hope that you are enjoying the hols, also give Juno a big hug, he just melts my heart. Congratulations.
Deborah Northover thanks so much hun. I’ll definitely be doing some bigger ones when I get back from Florida. We miss the little pup, but he’s having a blast at doggy daycare
I just watched this video for the first time to be it seems like your blue kind of took over but overall very pretty helped you enjoy making this painting keep doing what you're doing
Hi Kanella, What a beautiful painting. I love the colours. I'm new to Dutch Pours but I'm in love with them. I live in West Australia and don't seem to be able to get a lot of your paints over here. But I'll keep trying.
Kind a like this one better before the blowing but I also haven’t watched it till the end yet but I will! Really enjoying your channel I just came upon this evening!
Hi, first time watching you... your painting is amazing! My Great Granddaughter (6) and I have been watching a lot of pouring videos. We are going to try a pour shortly, it will be a surprise for her! She likes most of them but said she’d like to do a balloon smash or chain pull. I will mix the paints she chooses and torch it for her... the rest is up to her and I can’t wait to see what she creates... Love your awesome personality!
Cynthia Roberts thank you so much for the kind words! Your great granddaughter will just love it. My 8 year old son helps me from time to time when I paint, there’s even a video of him doing his own Dutch pour. Balloon smash is also a lot of fun. Have fun with her and I hope it goes well 😊
This is amazing! it is magical. I've tried to do it but it did not come out as expected. I have noted the way your hand blew the colour it is purely artistic.
Kanella I’m just going to start pouring for the first tine, you are such a inspiration. Love watching your videos . Your art is amazing. Thank you for sharing. You
Very Beautiful pour with the blues and copper. I've been watching these pors and think I want to invest in paints and canvas, and begin having fun creating Awesome works of art. Luv it.
I love the blues. My favorite color too. I was worried about that copper color at first but just enough. I’m glad you didn’t add more. Keep the girls out of the paint. Lol! 💙🦋
Yes just remember copper is not blue haha , having said that it look like our beaches where l live in Australia vey white sand the colour of ocean is the same ans copper pebbles.
I think the copper distribution is perfect. Middle, top and bottom. Congrats on a beautiful Dutch Pour. I am inspired and this gives me courage to try a larger canvas myself.
Kanella, you are so giddy and happy in this video. I am really excited that you are excited. I also had a 16x20 out the other day, put it on my art table, got scared, and did a 12x12. You have inspired me to go for it. As you've said before, if it doesn't turn out good you can scrape it or use it again. Not the end of the world. I would hate to waste the paint but I'd be learning a lesson of some sort. You nailed it on this canvas with your beautiful colored paint. I'm so excited for you. Love and kisses to Juno and God bless you and your family. 😘
Just have to say when you just used the hair dryer at first...it was Stunning!!!! You could have even stopped there!!!!! It was truly amazing results in such a short time!
Oh btw. I have 2 sisters born in September we are best best friends. I live them both sooo very much. We get along amazingly One on the 5th one on the 27th. Lisa goes to Florida like you every year for the last 10 years now. Too funny. I'm a January baby. Omg kanella this is stunning
It's beautiful. I love the copper in it too. You need one of those airbrush tools that nail techs use. They are battery powered and small. You might be able to find one on Amazon, I haven't checked. I know they may sell them where they do nail supplies. Have a great weekend. 💗💗💗
This as usual such a beautiful piece! You have such an awesome gift and I love your excitement and fun you allow to show through! Your little girl is so cute!

Hi Kanella, again a beautiful piece of art. I used to do fine art using a air brush. Have you ever tried it instead of blowing? You control the airbrush flow both with varying pressure and size of needle! Tell me what you think? I love your colors!
Laura a Tilrico hi Laura, thanks for the tip. I have thought about it but haven’t looked into buying one as my mouth seems to work perfectly fine hahahha
