I bought this light from UtiliTech and do not like it. The squeeze connector is to large - the screws are too long! You can see by the vid that it sticks out on the bottom and does not look good. This has to be made in China - what a stupid design!
Thank you so much I did this and it came out great. I put two of the lights in the laundry room attached to a new motion switch. I had to go through a bunch of the ulititech lights to find the one with the right sized hole. My wife loves it so thank you!

Liked your video. I am looking to install two 18 inch and one 36 inch fixture to fit under 3 wall cabinets in a straight row. Each fixture has the push in connector for the black/white wires supplying power. How would you tie everything together.
Hi. Thank you for watching the video. You will need to purchase a few feet of 14-gauge wire for the purpose of daisy chaining these together. You will need a few feet of each white, black and green wire (Home Depot or Lowe's carries this wire). It's been a while since I made this video, and I cannot tell if the quick connects have a 3rd port on them for the purpose of daisy chaining fixtures together. If it does you can simply come out of each quick connect on the first fixture with the corresponding color wire (green ground wire connects to the yellow wire in the fixture) and enter into the next fixture with the new "pig tail" wires. These new pigtail wires are essentially the power source / ground for the 2nd fixture. There are circular "knockouts" on the side of the fixture that you can push out to make a hole for these wires to run through. If the quick connects do not have a 3rd port, simply cut off the quick connects and wire nut the wires together (all whites in one nut, all black in another nut, and all neutrals in another nut). Once you run this set into the 2nd fixture, you repeat the process with new "pig tail" wires and push those out of the second fixture (through a knockout hole), which then become the power source for your final light. Once completed, all three fixtures are daisy chained together and will run off of one light switch. I hope that this information helps you with your project. You Can Do It👍
The quick connects have a total of 3 ports one of which is occupied by either the black,white or green wire. Is this adequate for my case
The 36 inch fixture is the center fixture and the power source will come into that one thru a knockout hole
@@michaeldevaney2804 ok. So if there is an open port on each quick connect you can come out of it with matching wire colored "pig tail" and go directly into the next fixture. 👍

Thanks for taking the time to guide me on this. Since there are only 3 ports on the center fixture which is where the power will come in and the left and right fixtures will be tied into the center fixture can I use additional 14 gauge wire from the left and right fixture quick connect and bring them into the center fixture and pigtail them together with additional piece of 14 gauge wire and that additional piece will occupy port 2 on the center fixture. I will do this for black and white wires on left and right fixtures. This leaves one open port on the quick connect for the center unit which is where the black/white wires from the power source go.There is no ground wire coming thru the wall containing the black/white power source wires so not sure if that is important. I will send pic of quick connect
