If he starts he'll stretch the D (b/c the CB will need a deep safety to help when Calvin blows by him); open things up for TE's/Pickens and run game. Reviewing Kenny's pass map from this past Sunday: it's a bunch of completions behind the line of scrimmage and up to a dozen yards or so; and all incompletions for passes >15 yards. If I was a D-coordinator I'd stack the box too. We NEED Austin on the field to keep the D honest.

This is why I’m glad the Steelers traded for Allen Robinson. There is so much depth in the WR room that without DJ (even though he is a big lose) we will still have a starting WR lineup of George Pickens, Allen Robinson and Calvin Austin. However WRs don’t matter because it’s Matt Canada’s system
Bro Canada scheme is like 10 yrs old. It's dry and predictable with barely any clever plays or trick plays. We need to fire canada by week 8 or 9 and access our need for offensive coordinator. We need an offensive coordinator from this generation of play calling

Didn’t have time to, as he was running for his life, and Austin was way to the left & Kenny was flushed right.
At least we know Calvin can get open. He looks healthy after missing all of last year. Hopefully our next game is better we can’t start the season 0-2
