Honestly It feels sucky because The more modern the game gets, the more fast paced and Chaotic it gets, you don't have time to think as the time it takes for someone to kill you is so Fast. In My (usually bad) Opinion, 6.7 - 7.7 is the best BR range in Ground because late WW2 early Cold war just feels awesome to play (minus ATGMs), and 7.0 - 8.3 jets feel awesome because jet dog fights look like a very dangerous dance between planes... but AAMs ruin that.
That feeling when yes all aspects against flareless planes is definitely a problem but also just as much caused by people just flying in front of my A-10, Su-25, A-6E or any other AAM-equipped plane that doesn't even use all aspect is too much to count... (Please be more aware folks it ain't *that* hard)
Man, when I first entered that BR, getting shot by missiles constantly, without flares, I didn't even know the differences between missiles, let alone, which airplanes use which missiles.
The main thing I enjoy about it is the fact that when I use it in sim, it can occupy me for hours. Climbing up to about 12 to 15k ft altitude and using clouds as cover, (I usually go higher if there are clear skies) Give many bases and ground vehicles the guided pounding treatment and then come back to practice carrier landings, which have gotten significantly easier since using it. Being somewhat new to the game and the A6 was on sale for nearly half off, I might as well throw a small amount of cash at a free game for something to introduce me to jets. Modern jets. I've learned how to utilize the RWR (which isn't very well refined in this game). I've learned how to use my bombsights in the cockpit. It also taught me to keep situational awareness since I've been downed from what seems to be out of nowhere until i actually started looking around and doing baffle checks. Im slowly acclimating myself towards properly defending and picking targets I can fight, and targets i can run from (which isnt a lot unless i have a lot of energy saved up and can peel n' dip at a moments notice). I enjoy the experience that it is giving me with this game in Simulation mode. Though everytime i meet a Flanker or Fulcrum, it becomes a fucking horror game.
What Gaijin do is simple push you towards pushase high BR Premium Vehicle just for ability to grind all recent chances proof it now they down Migs 19s and F-104 to 9.3 so subsonic planes are just food for them try hard play them so get better K/D ratio and frustrate ppl so they buy premium plane just to pass the horrible balance in game it's joke in me opinion and community are full of ..... from 8.3 up Air Realistic become extremely idiotic almost 150 planes are not playable because of all - aspect .
The words you were looking for when describing "responding to input" or how it takes a while to start pulling but it can pull quite hard, would be instantaneous turn rate or instantaneous AoA, in this case, the lack of those things. It can turn but doesn't agress into the turn as fast as other aircraft.
I suppose, but it was a little different than just not being able to turn, it felt like the input itself was taking time to be processed. The largest annoyance is definitely the pitching while rolling for sure though

Other aircraft have had this issue too, where it feels more like an input delay than anything but it's just the flight model of whatever it is, it's not actually a bug of any kind. If anything it's an error in the flight model opposed to a bug, but I have no idea if the A-6 had seriously sluggish controls or not irl.
Personally I find having to fumble for the F keys takes longer and is less efficient than just pressing V a couple times. Might be different for you since you're used to it but I've got no problems with just using the toggle.

yea its very irritating playing around this br and it needs to be addressed, either nerf the a10/a6e/su25 by giving them worse missiles "take away 9l replace with 9J/remove r60mk and only give r60" or raise there br's; such as a10a to 10.3 and the a10 late to 10.7, the a6e and the su25's should be at least 10.3 also.

when you absolutely must pay 70 US dollars to be able to launch the best all-aspect 30G missile in the game at mig17s...
Or 60 to launch 30G all aspects at 8.7s with the Su-25
