I kind of take it as "Theres really not many at the top, once you get past that facade". I notice it too, Things seem so far away, but then you work at it just for a little bit, and you really see how close everything really was. How easy it actually is. I feel like, We tear down way to many peoples dreams. We keep the true "Ones" from stepping up because they think "i couldn't do it anyways".
I just want everyone to know that its YOU who makes your talent bloom. Even if you think you have no talent, even if its true. You can create talent. Your own talent. Sometimes a guy comes around whos physically blessed but they are also cursed. You who sees the world for what it really is, are the truly blessed one.

That line "If you aren't comfortable being alone with yourself" is powerful. Too many people are searching for happiness in relationships, work, drugs, etc. Learn to love yourself, it's very hard but it will open so many doors and avenues.

That line "If you aren't comfortable being alone with yourself"...incredible. I think many people missed the message with John Wick. John Wick is powerful because he's alone. There's nothing sad or depressing about it. You have to suffer to grow but you do it alone. Be emotional, cry, do whatever, wrestle with those demons but don't stay there because that's when you lose. There's no change in easy. There's only better through suffering. I'm 36 and started this journey at 34. It's not fun...at all but character is being created...daily.

Even when I’m tired or even when I’m having a tough day, I still give it everything I got to put others first and try and brighten up their day, be it family, friends or a stranger on the train. That’s my challenge

As a grow up through my mid-twenties now, these types of messages resonate with me more and more. Life is not fair, and you can either shape it or be shaped by it. Last year was by far the toughest time of my life and I lost that puppy-dog nice guy attitude and without trying to sound cringey at all, now I am a fucking wolf, I HAVE to be.
It’s about how you handle your business. Your thoughts, words and actions should match. You will always be smaller than the things you avoid, meet them head on. Don’t listen to respond, listen to understand. The more you think before you speak the more weight your words will have. Challenge yourself physically and intellectually. Embrace discipline, act deliberately, follow through. If it needs to be done, do it.
The smart man doesnt go to war especially when it isn't his battle. One thing I learned in life ignorance is bliss and it sure annoys people, hard not to bite though sometimes.

I plan on releasing my own writings and art into a collection of punk scene-ish art with my little brother all over the Internet no matter if I blow up or not, I will never give up.

Protip: If you are in a position within a group or organization, seek out people who keep saying things like "It's not my job/problem" and make it yours. Take on whatever small amounts you can CONSISTENTLY manage and you will fast track your way up the ladder and/or improve what you already have now at the incompetence of someone else.
I was lost for a long time, and I had the job I really wanted, but I didn't know what to do once I got it. I just got out of a long-term relationship, had a poor relationship with a lot of family, and held a lot of resent for people in my life, which I think hindered my growth.
For people in these positions, I think the worse advice to hear, but the best to recieve, is finding christ. I began reading OT, and NT, and understood forgivness, righteousness, and stoicism (i.e. not acting emotionally, being collected in the face of adversity, and being forgiving when people do evil against you).
I am early in my journey, and have hit a stalemate, but I believe it is the best advice I can give.

I been depressed since December 2019. Because I lost someone so close to me. That I stood still for 3 YEARS. I did absolutely nothing, then I had a dream. GOD showed me what path I was on. So I started praying and started working out and running. I working on getting my license and GED. I've made more progress in this month than I did in 3 YEARS. I stopped smoking weed, even tho I have demons in my sleep. GOD protects me. GOD showed me the right path, now I'm doing my part in walking it

I feel like there is something missing from everything they just said. Something implied but something that boys and young men need to hear explicitly. And that is the 'bigger win'. When Jon Jones embraces the suck, it isn't because he's the one person that likes pain. It's because 'the suck' now leads to 'the bigger win.' When Goggins is the 9 now but wants to be the 1, it isn't just so that he can look cool. it's because he believes that being the 1 means that he'll have the strength to be the difference between winning and losing. When the last man talks about standing up and being unpopular and being comfortable with yourself, all of that isn't just for the sake of doing it or to say that you did it. It is supposed to be in the service of the 'bigger win' - oftentimes it's the only way to get 'the bigger win': integrity, community, living with yourself, making yourself stronger, making tomorrow better. If you genuinely believe that you'll make the world better by being unpopular, by embracing suck, by working harder - then that is what you should be doing. But if you don't believe; if you aren't pursuing a bigger win for yourself, for your family and for your community - if you're just settling for something that makes you feel good for a couple of minutes today; you're probably just a part of the problem. The problem of the world sucking and you just taking it - doing nothing about it and hating it.

Really i wanna say something. Ik most of you won't pay attention to some random comment but i wanna still put it out here. Nobody cares , when i say nobody i mean nobody, not your close ones, not your friends, not your partner every pain you go through you are alone and you are the one suffering. I'm 17 and i dont have a gf or friends but yk why bc at the end of the day when i am alone with my thoughts going all around my mind it's only me suffering not anyone else. If someone says they like me I'm fyn we will talk. But i won't get close to anybody bc whenever i do it hurts. My mother is the one who understands me but at the end it's me suffering alone. So guys if you are alone so don't care abt other people except your family. So whatever feels right do it bc it will be you at the end who regrets those desicions not any one else.
