Hi Sean, yes it was beautiful. There were some burnt sections from a fire, but otherwise it was really nice and the views were great. Hopefully you can make it there. You're welcome, and thanks for watching.
Hi Timothy, I wasn't sure what we'd be able to see from there, but despite the haze it was pretty nice. It was cool to see Humphrey's, Kendrick, and Bill Williams. I would think Humphrey's is over 100 mile away, but I haven't checked.
Hi Kilroy, we weren't sure where to go at first either. But the cairn and the easier route up is north of the end of the road, kind of northeast of the peak.
Hi Jordan, that was a side road, off the main road, so it was definitely fine there. I thin it was some picnic area or camping area. We parked there because we wanted more elevation gain. But if you want to, you can drive further up the main road, and then you have to turn off up there somewhere to get to the higher trailhead. I think we ended up getting about 300-500 ft. of extra elevation gain from where we parked. I hope that helps, and thanks for watching.
Just beautiful up there....I'm envious! Thanks for the video.

Hi Edward, thanks, I will tell Patrick. I'm glad to see him with me too, and maybe he'll come more often now!
Up here now and it's beautiful.
Hi Ronald, I hope. you are having a good time, and yes, it's a beautiful place.
Didn't know you could see hunphreys from there.

I did this hike in June, I followed it to the trail post at the end and could not find the freaking cairn.

It's ok to just park on the side of the road? Obviously it worked out well for you just curious if that's what i should do?
