In silence, I could only watch as my hand bought the purchase bundle just for Xiangli Yao. It then proceeded to Search for all the Xiangli fanart and save it in the Xiangli Yao folder. I then stared at the space in utter silence. I wonder, how could a gacha game be so cruel.
Dont use jinshi weapon on calcharo.. Calcharo scales only on attack weapon... Crit damage is of no use to calcharo weapon... Ur solo calcharo is giving max 35 k.. And that atk atk weapon on my calcharo is giving 38k in 220 crit damage.. If i have 260 crit dame ma be i can do solo ult 50 k... That atk atk weapon is made for calcharo only
Yao has really good fluidity in his play style. Maybe because he is gauntlet but if chalcharo feels slow because he is broad blade shouldn't that be compensated by his damage? Buyt... yeah
Needs way more hands than other characters for sure, but the damage is comparable or even slightly higher than Yao. Squeezing 3-4 death messengers takes practice. I hope we get an attack speed buffer in the future. On the other hand Yao is as easy to play as Jiyan and the performance is almost as good as the sweatiest Calcharo.
The way Xiangli has less restrictions when doing his combo compared to Carrot.. man... poor Carrot.. Poor Carrot also doesnt have his own sig.. And holy.. Xiangli's Dodge Counter DMG.. What the hell..?
@david_ace i mean.. sure, the passives are made to be used for the standard charas, but design? They dont properly match the standard charas.. Like Verina would have a weapon like Zhezhi but plant or solar inspired weapon, or Carrot with a menacing Odachi.. i hope they release something to match the 5.. The standard weapon doesnt look like their "canon" weapon

While I do think that there were many things, Easy things that could have been done to improve Calch's runs to shorten the gap. its still really easy to see that in terms of personal dmg Yao does way more, Way easier there is no questioning that. Yao is taking Calch's place in terms of teams, But Calcharo is transitioning to duo dps quick swap teams which is something I dont think Yao can do as well.
First they nerf Calcharo and Yinlin's combo play now they drop a Nuke on the poor Guy by releasing a FREE Electro Dps that is miles better then him Calcharo and his Fan's really can't catch a break can they Kuro really hates Electro Perm Banner Unit's it seems. xD

Plus roughly 300 atk difference is huge (especially when thinking that a maxxed out weapon is 587) and when hitting a crit that difference would be round 1k, NOT to mention the 48% increase from Liberation dmg passive. Even tho Razor would roughly give only 21% would still be closer comparison in my opinion. As if i compare my Calcharo (with Razor) 2590 atk and 204 crit dmg it works out similar to your 1865 atk and 280 crit dmg. Sadly I am not as good with him as you are in order to compare the timings :D good video nevertheless :3
Tbf on the 13 first seconds almost none of his hit missed and he still got outdps, while Calcharo is also more burst focus I like Calcharo way more and will keep use him for esthetic, but dmg wise he is behind even if we assume 100% accuracy
@panda_boy2689 you can build both Chalcharo is much more fun than the other current units for me but he will be much more complicated to use on endgame than Xangliyao
Lotta people really doing Calcharo dirty in their comparisons. it doesn't take much to use his full liberation and get 3 death messengers out of it. it does a LOT for him, easily put a properly played Calcharo = XiangliYao, the only real difference is, and i don't mean this in a bad way. Yao is brain dead. you kinda just mash basic and skill until the thing dies
it's two things. One, Calcharo in most fights doesnt get full value out of his liberation unless the boss is knocked down. And two, His liberation dodges do NOT give him forte bar but xianglis does. Basically if you dont get 3 death messengers every ult, and dont get to instantly use your ult exactly when its up, he just falls behind.. If dodging gave you 2 to 3 forte bar, he would be saved in these boss fights.

2149 atk vs 1865 atk is not really a great comparison, plus isn't Lustrous Razor or Autumntrace a better weapon on Clacharo?
