Haha.... I grew up watching Different Strokes, Growing Pains, The Smurfs, The Snorkles etc as a kid .....It was a different time and different era - once I got board watching TV I'd take my fishing pole down to the lake and fish - or just leave the house and go somewhere at 7-years old back in 1987 - that shiznit was flipping normal - go to the card shop and buy, sell and trade cards with friends ..... Actually I didn't watch that much TV because I was either at the LCS or the LFS (local fishing spot) and if you couldn't find me at either location I was at a friends house - then your mother could find you if she was looking for you or if you were running late against your curfew ........ Ahhh, yes the days before the cell phones - where street lights were a "hint" that it was dinner time and perhaps at least a time to check in before you went back out (if you had cool parents)..... lol, great times... Trading cards with my boy's, playing baseball, fishing, riding my bike, "jumping from house to house looking for a friend"..... Waking up on Saturday and Sunday mornings to watch "The Snorkles" or coming home after school to watch "different Strokes" .... Then saying "What's up Willis?" the next day because they did the same thing you did the previous day if you could say it funnier than Ronald ..... Man I could talk about the 80's forever - but that is why I love the cultural aspect of the hobby ..... We all have excellent backgrounds, have mutual respect for the hobby and have big hearts.... Look, I can talk to any s ports card collector and it's an immediate friendship after a sentence or 2 .... And we can go on for hours about cards - and this is one of the main reasons why I enjoy this hobby - politics don't matter here - we can trade 1972 Tioos Cards wutgiyt withou our brains invaded - we can have excel;lent discussions without politics - but most of us dont CARE about .................. LOOOK MAN -- we need to just look - we need to just do our thang - trade cards
I know you won't get this until very later but Arrested Development is one of the better sitcoms that you'll ever see. It stands the test of time the comedy is Ageless
This is just an observation but I'm shocked these aren't bricking up... Obviously cards with that glossy type of finish tend to do.... Pretty crazy, I just bought a collection of early to mid 90's hockey cards and many were just bricked the F up - and a couple of really nice cards got damaged in the process with either the paper loss or the paper sticking and all of that jazz..... Look, I haven't found a fool-proof way of "unbricking" cards without causing damage in the process..... Either way - I just thought it was interesting these 93 Donruss were not bricking up - especially when they brick in my commons/"meh" boxes..... lol
I'm a new fan of the past is alive and it's charged up my baseball collecting spirit and thanks for your videos. I'm wanting to purchase a few of your 5 and 10 boxes please let me know how to do so.
Love the videos brother! Yeah I suffered through many, many boxes myself until a unicorn came to me in my dream, pulled out it's cellphone and opened up the eBay app. And then looked at me and raised its horn while the light hit it's mane....that's when I learned...they didn't come from boxes, they came from eBay ( after that night, I sip stake through a straw but I have almost completed the set now. )
Dude.....This was hillarious! I just watched it in full entirety. I was laughing so hard when you and your girlfriend were going back and forth. Have a good one buddy.
Can't wait to finish this video. I'll have to try and avoid any spoilers :) I pulled the Eckersley elite back in the day looking for Mattingly. It was an exciting and disappointing pull all at the same time lol
The only box I ever bought I pulled an Elite Frank Thomas not sure of the year or series but I just remember pulling in and having it for a while before I traded it unfortunately as a kid
Hey Nosferatu, I was watching a video and it sounds just like you. It's Abandoned mines ."I haven't seen that much death in a mine July 11th. Please go an listen to 3:00 That's all you'll need to be sure!
I listen to you talking about player's like Mike Piazza, Barry bonds, Barry Larkin, and David Justice. You won't believe it, but awhile ago, I bid on a lot, that had many card's of each player at an auction, and I was high bidder, and when I got them, they're in great shape. I got them for next to nothing. It was the shipping that cost me, but I'm sure I paid $30.00 or less. Now, when they have many auctions for good stuff, you have to meet the reserve. And they're always saying, "reserve not met. Still in one of the auctions, I was high bid for a Roberto Clemente graded card, a Brook's Robinson gold cup Topps card, aken Griffey Jr, Topps traded rookie card and a Pete Rose. Now, they had a 1986 MJ Fleer Rookie. I bid very high, but others were able to bid against each other, when I just couldn't continue. I've been able to search around for some really good stuff, but sometimes,my making a purchase is not there.
We used to go ape over these Diamond Kings, especially Griffey jr.. I believe I have one elite card, but its encased in about 30 boxes of assorted commons and I know it's a Schlobotnik...lol..Ill dig it out one day and send it to you. I can't remember who it was..
Funny story, at my grade school I was friends with a girl whose dad invented frosted Cheerios for General Mills! Hand to God the truth! Kirihara was the last name look it up!
Was in Montgomery, AL at a card shop adjacent to Montgomery Mall. Pulled the Will Clark auto AND Cal Ripken elite in the same pack. Shop owner gave me 300 bucks for them. Timely as i needed brakes on the car. Never pulled another.
As far as a shows that are only shown on premium channels Eastbound and Down with Danny McBride as the star He plays a very rough version of John Rocker if you can think of someone being rougher than John Rocker, absolutely 💯 % comedic genius Will Ferrell playing a knock off version of Ric Flair that owns a used car dealership and he's hands on. LMFAO WOOOO!! OK I'm done now. You have great whatever time of day you see this. I know if you haven't seen these and decide to see them that you will be entertained
Marlboro Miles...save up for Adventure Team Gear...and I have the jacket!!! Lol

Haggard was an epic movie . I still have my copy with the advertisement for fairmans.
Even though it doesn't have my favorite player, Juan Gonzalez, 89 Donruss is probably my favorite Donruss card.
Service Merchandise - now that's a name I haven't heard in such a long time.... wow!
Boy meets world will always be a classic
That photo with the cast 😍

Wish I could of been here for this one, I know a lot of interesting dialogue in the midst, and your thumbnail is freakin epic.
Thumbnail looks like the leaning tower of 93 donruss boxes
