Good arguments made here especially with the illustration of the hourglass. It's necessary to also believe in my opinion that Yeshua built time in place. This means things could appear older than they are but the properties of time were built in. Example: in the beginning Yeshua created the stars for us here on Earth to see so the extreme distance the light had to travel for us to see was built in just like when he turned water into wine skipping the fermentation process. At least it's apparent to me that's how it is.
***** I'm sorry but I don't understand your question. Can you rephrase? I think you're asking what evidence do I have that time could be built in? What evidence is there that time is constant throughout the universe? I do know it's proven that the speed of light is not a constant. Experiments also show that the properties of light change depending on the point of observation. If the universe is expanding and with acceleration, one has to assume that properties of space and time differ at the edges of space from what we perceive from our solar system. At least that's my conclusion but I also don't claim to be a scientist just someone interested in science and I try to read and understand to the best of my abilities not claiming to be superior to anyone but offering up ideas for thought. If the Big Bang created everything from nothing that has issues as well. How does everything come from nothing in either scenario? I'd love to add footnotes and references but I'm lying here typing away on my phone. I can't prove God exists just as much as no one can prove life came from rain on rocks 4.5 billion years ago. Happy to engage in conversation and willing to look at things from a different perspective when appropriate.
this was really helpful i appreciate the time put in to this
