If I'm gonna leave a comment I'm gonna say that your channel is the best channel that I have found to study English and I'm very lucky because I came across to your channel , another point the lesson that you made today is such a stunning lesson because it helped me to overcome my fear and have more confidence in myself❤
What a priceless lesson! Thanks Andrea! I really regret watching this lesson so late. Not only do I improve my English, I'm really motivated whenever I watch your lessons. I incredibly love your lessons!
I realy recomend everyone to listen these podcasts. Generaly i think, most of languages learning rules are the same. 70% listening / 30 % practisining.
Well, I generally expose myself to learning American English because I enjoy it more than British English. However, I really feel like time flies when I'm listening to you here on RUclips, . You look and sound so lovely. Thank you for sharing all the important tips for learning English. You and Ethan are the best! Thank you!
Hi teacher Andrea. Thanks for your efforts. I totally agree with you. I have been learning English for one and half years and work hard but still have problems in speaking. Yes I can express myself but it is not enough for me I want to be fluent speaker then I realise that I have problems in my native language and I stopped sometimes (I knew after I recorded my own voice). Thank you so much.
Your words are worthy and you're totally right. You guys wouldn't have to wonder why your RUclips channels are so successful. Up until now, I haven't found better English teachers than you,you guys should be proud. Everyone can be inspired with that video though, because some individuals think that a person who is fluent is a person that understands and spells everything right in English. That kinda makes them give up and stop learning English!!! I am in my journey through learning English and improving my skills in it so I post photos on Instagram and include texts with 'em about some topics that I choose and that actually interest me and then write about in English in english once a while and I absolutely never care about making mistakes. However, making mistakes is way better than fake perfections !!!
To answer your question... My most important personal myth that I had learned at school was that language learning is not my thing. Another one is that I'm not able to learn vocables because I'll forget them anyway. (If I were a teacher I would teach the learners spaced repetition and tell them that *everybody* forgets what they've learned without repetitions!) Another one is that I'm not able to learn speaking a language because it feels like breaking my tongue when I started to try it and yet my pronounciation sounds atrocious. (If I were a teacher I would tell the pupils that a baby needs a year from the first exposure to their mother tongue - already in the womb - to speaking their first words, without perfect pronounciation, and that the pupils might come as far a little faster because they have already a little controll about their tongue, but it still takes some time to learn making new sounds!). I had also learned at school that learning English isn't a fun and that there's nothing more ridiculous, disgusting and embarrassing than to have and accent, so I didn't dare to open my mouth. This myth had already been debunked by foreigners and immigrants when I started new with English some decades after leaving school. Especially I have to thank an Irishman whose accent in German was so strong that it felt like understanding his English was easier, although his English sounded strange as well. I realized that we never deemed him ridiculous or otherwise judged him by his accent. I recognized that other people wouldn't judge me if I was in his situation. I wish I had been able to debunk all that myths before I had reached the ripe old age of 55 years. I'm an enthusiastic language learner now and I understood everything you said in this video! To prepare fluency I not only watch videos every day, but also write every day and learn especially the vocab words I miss to write my text, because that are the ones I've wanted to use to express my thoughts.
I was a maths teacher in my country so I know what's mean good teaching. You are good teacher and very nice person. Thank you for the video. God bless you
Thank you, Andrea and Ethan, I’m Colombian living in Vienna, I’d read the Bible from cover to cover, attended many courses , I lived a couple of years in USA, Minneapolis and Jersey City, and those Videos are innovative, you are polite, professionals . I’m recommending those Videos to friends and relatives...pls just try a music that don’t distract... we need total relaxation , to get the class , and enjoy it
That was very important for me because I always felt frustrated with the mistakes I ve made and many times I ve wanted to give up to go on learning English.
Thanks You comforted me.Your Learn english with tv series improve our english and your Real life english give us a motivation to go forward and not to give up and to continue learning English i've really improved my english
Awesome video. Rather than speaking what should I do? I learn vocabularies and I practice that beyond that I couldn't structure the sentence well. There are lots of lots of verbs and connective words, helping verb etc... I can't use those when I speak and I have a lot of chaos. Still I frame basic sentence and the words are not suddenly come to my mind. What do I do?
I Am Trying from long time to be a good speaker but no one bring any change in my eanglish but Ethan does i really like his method his way of teaching, quit concerned. Getting much but still afraid and still facing dificulties while speaking to someone i really appreciate if you find any solution of being afraiding to talk as a good speaker
Thanks a lot for the video, I deeply appreciate it. To my mind this is a tip of essential videos which are completely able to make ourselfs better with popular myths in order to learn by mistakes myths etc. I enjoy this format.😊
I am really into your contents !!! I previously sticked to the myth that I have to get rid of my own accent. However, I have realized that it is not true and it is also hard to make it. Accent is one of identity, so as long as our pronunciation is correct and we can speak clearly, that should be up to snuff right??
This video is awesome. Spanish speakers have the same, we don't understand 100% of the words, and as English language, we've got a lot of accents which make the situation worse, at the end, we've got the same problem as English speakers 😂😂
I only learn to speak english because i understand everything in english but can't speak like you, i always hesitate in between talking. Please help me ?

I could recognise that a friend lost his English since he‘s been living in Germany.
He thinks now in German
Everybody says about pronunciation & to make it a little bit stylish....is it really important?
