Excellent work here. I am including this video in a Theory into Practice discussion with my Instructional Design class. Your presentation is clear, informative, and practicable. Much appreciated.
Thanks for the message, I'm glad you find it useful for your class! I assume you've also checked out some of my other videos (some of which are updated and newer) and I also have a free book about motivation vtechworks.lib.vt.edu/handle/10919/102728
Just happened upon this presentation, Professor Jones. As it happens, I was a grad student of Marty Covington's and collaborator on one of his later books, which applies self-worth theory to the design of college courses (your second guiding question). It's titled, "Life Beyond Grades: Designing College Courses to Promote Intrinsic Motivation" in case you are interested. I'm sure Marty would be very pleased with your treatment of his work on self-worth theory of achievement motivation. If you'd like to see it, he gave a career retrospective talk, which you can find here: ruclips.net/video/stFZlyY_4m4/видео.html
Thank you so much for the message Dr. Voge, I appreciate your kind words! I look forward to checking out his talk, as well as some of yours and your book.
This one is very educational, but easy to understand. Many Thanks.

These videos are genius. I wish I learned this many theories as an undergrad. Thank you Dr. B. Jones. I am a Jones as well :).

@@BrettDJones Thanks, Brett. All the best to you.
Can you do a video on emotion regulation theory by James Gross by the way?
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll put it on my list and try to do it when I have time.
