Tech question.!! How does the fuel cut function operate on a gsxr1000 k6…. In terms of speed rpm and throttle postion, . ?Trying to slow down smoothly in high gears from speed is fine upto a point. But at some point the engine braking cuts in hard as though the throttle has been chopped..!! It’s done this from new but I ride less aggressively nowadays and just wondered if it is the fuel cut function that causes it and whether it can be improved with a flash..???
I've seen some crazy things in the decades I've worked on bikes but installing pistons backwards is beyond belief and IMO stroking any engine without also installing forged pistons doesn't make sense either...
I hade the bike stored at a Motorcycle garage this winter,and i belive they put some bad fuel on.I cant prove it,but that is the only way it could happened.Lesson learned.Never let any ony one else fill fuel on the his bike that myself.

How can water get into the fuel system?
