That is one method I have not tried yet and it seems pretty easy the way that you do it. I need to buy myself a can of that cleaner and give it a try. I have a couple hundred non working watches that your method could work on. Thanks for sharing.

@@Squeezer999 yes they are non native and are planted. Vancouver does not get very cold compared to the rest of Canada
