IELTS is not a pre requisite for AMC part 1 but you have to give it after AMC part 2 and before applying for job in Australia. But the more popular pathway to practice in Australia for IMGs now is the competent authority pathway that allows you to apply for jobs in Australia without sitting for AMC exams if you have completed PLAB and have done 1 year supervised training in the UK.

Before Part 2 u need Overall 7.5 and every part 7.5 . PLAB is better . Easy to score and less pressure. Ielts Löwer too with 7.5 Overall And 7 in Each section.

Mplusx is better as it has lots of questions (over 3500+) along with past recalls. Highly recommended.
