- ☕ I've something very exciting to show you! 😁 I collaborated with noissue @noissueco to create my very own custom tissue paper! I love it so much, I can't wait to pack my orders with it! 😍💙
In this studio vlog I show you my design process for creating the custom tissue paper. One of the things I wanted was to make sure I created a pattern at the right size for my packing boxes.

I received my order yesterday. The pins are beautiful. One is for one of my sons for Christmas and the other is for him to give to meeeeeee 😃 yey! thanks April 😁 yeah I found laying the tissue paper out made it way easier to work out the scale than if I was just looking at a screen.
You put a lot of thought in preparing this tissue paper, thinking about where the cut will be, where the folds will be, etc.! It was worth it - it looks really pretty :). Pretty design and lovely color. An upgrade definitely!
Thanks Harmony 😊 yes a lot of my time was spent just cutting and folding tissue paper 😂 but I think it helped me visualise it (that word I can't say 😆 )

Glad you liked it! Yes I used my iPad and Procreate 😁 and then finished it off in Photoshop.
Beautiful!! Did you have to convert your drawings to vector? Or you just used the image file from procreate? I love how detailed you are explaining and how much time and care you put into your work. I just found your channel!❤️❤️
Thank you Gabriela 😊 Something always seems to go wrong when I try to vectorise. 🙈 Noissue were really helpful though, and converted the artwork for me. They do ask for the artwork to be vectorised, but if you had any problems I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

Do you remember what shade of blue this is from noissue, I'm hoping its Dark Blue C lol... I love the colour and basically I just ordered tissue paper too and online it looks bright but I'm hoping it prints duller like yours looks.
I think it did print a bit darker, I know some people buy those Pantone books to check the colours, but they seem so expensive. Hope you like your new paper when it arrives 😊
You put alot of effort into your tissue paper, a lot of people end up with huge designs on their paper by mistake 😂

Hello from the UK 😁👋 the paper tape is from The Tiny Box Company, I assume they do worldwide delivery, but there's lots of companies that offer brown tape 😊

I have a silly question but how did you cut your tissue paper ? I tried with scissors and a cutter and it’s a disaster ...
Don't worry about silly questions 😊 I fold it first, hold it taut and then cut along the line. I also tried using a paper cutter and it came out a bit mangled ! 😅Hope that helps
I would try using a rotary cutter and ruler to cut the paper 😊

Love your videos. I was looking at your Etsy shop because the pins you make are adorable. I live in the United States and do not understand shipping from the UK. Can you give me an idea of what it would cost to ship to zip code 45039? I want to have tissue paper printed with my designs and will look into Noissue. I have not heard of them before.
Hi Helen so pleased you like my videos and my pins 😁🥰 the best way to work out the shipping is to add things to your basket on my Etsy shop and it will tell you the shipping (you don't have to complete the checkout) International shipping comes without tracking, but you can upgrade if you need it tracked 😊 hope that helps!

@@helenknecht2407 Hi Helen, I don't set the custom fees, and it'd be different for each country, and may also depend on your local postal service. 😊
Your tissue design looks amazing! But noissue isn't as great of an "eco-friendly" company as they make themselves out to be. Quite greenwashy actually. Leigh Ellexson talks about this in her latest vid.

Omg yes, it's so hard to be first on youtube hehe, even when you think you're first youtube is behaving strange and not showing earlier comments before you so you're never sure. But now I got it confirmed then. Been eyeballing a few of your videos. Also, I still think you should write down what brushes you use in each video because you always make everything look pretty, and I've tried finding some similar brush but I never get it to look like you do! Also, I saw another RUclipsr also designing a cat pin with flowers: O strange that she had the same idea.
