  • Ian takes us through how to detach and reattach the rear wheel on a eBullitt 6100 with a Gates Carbon Drive. There are plenty of reasons you may need to adjust or remove the rear wheel on your eBullitt, be it changing tyres or tube. Knowing how to remove the Di2 gear cable and loosening and re-tensioning the Gates belt is crucial for the smooth running of your eBullitt and will ensure long lasting smiles and happy riding!

    Thank you for this video, it's really helpful.
    In addition to Brake Adjustement, I'd love to see one on changing brake pads. I understand that this is a critical part but depending where you live, you need to be as autonomous as possible regarding all the main maintenances you have to perform regularly.

    Just been brought an older one to repair, the hub motor cable has been damaged, I've replaced many for people it's a common ebike item to be damaged. I love fixing Ebikes. But here is where it goes sour, the hub motor appears to be a sealed unit so a whole new rear wheel is going to be needed all for the sake of 50cm of wire. Hub motor is heinzman. it's worth checking if it has the usual 6 or 8 screws to take the side off the motor or if its got zero like this one. must say the bike itself is really well made I'm impressed by everything else but the old style motor

    What is the freq for the belt on a Bullitt when measuring the tension with the app?
