- Chai Karak translates roughly into "strong tea." A drink that originated in South Asia has grown to become one of the most popular drinks in the UAE, but what goes in to this simple 1 dirham (25 cents) drink, and why does this drink tie communities together in ways that other things can't, here is what we discovered.

Yes, "Bismillah" is said by all Muslims prior to eating/drinking. It's like a Christian saying the Blessing before eating!! Alhamdulilah is giving all thanks to Allah.

Masha allah. Looking forward to have and to take a sip on karak. So after my father came back from Bangladesh and Pakistan when I was little, he introduced chai to us. But since we live in the Philippines, the most affordable home made chai is Lipton black label tea and alpine evaporated milk. And it tastes good.

Mr. Khalid, thanks for sharing this piece of information. In India there are quite a different varieties of tea - Assam tea with milk, Darjeeling tea never with milk, Nilgiri tea etc etc. Tea tastes different depending upon which garden it is grown from and also the season, produce. As an example second flush, in top hills of Darjeeling tastes the best. Tea tasting is a full fledged career here in India. Darjeeling tea is called the "champagne of the tea" in the world. Surprisingly English people made tea popular in India back in time

Which one is your favourite tea? After testing all ☕☕🤔🤔 ♥️ From India (Mumbai) we speak it "KADAK" in Mumbai also the Nagori tea is famous in India special made by Marwadi community.
