I bought a T-shirt and when I wanted to wear it I saw the tag. From all the tutorials I saw this is the one that worked perfectly, was easy and fast too. And most importantly I saved a 40 min trip to the store!!
This was awesome. Easy and quick with the burning method! Saved me tons of time and annoyance
id say be very careful you have to burn both sides. I used scissors to scratch away the plastic after burning and then get out the spring. After that I burned the other side and got the pin out with a metal clamp wrench. You need ventilation or can do it outside because the gasses might be poison or bad for you. always stay next to a water source

It does work!!! I only burnt the side with the bump cause i was scared of burning a hole in my tshirt. I just took out the springy thing and it eventually - with a bit of wiggling - came loose!
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Instead of burning it - I used an electric drill with an 8mm bit, to go through the middle of the dome to expose the lock that is under the spring then used pliers to break the lock out.

I carefully drilled the bubble side and once your down to the tube and pin just carefully twist them and they’ll come off.

@@TheCommandant-wb9tv on the bumble side if you drill thru it slowly you’ll hit a small tube object with a pin and if you start to twist it it’ll come off. But don’t be agreesive as it could ruin the fabric of the item.

Thank you, tried other videos that used magnets. It didn't work. However, I succeeded in using your method.
Managed to do this by burning the bump too. The other side was quite small so I was very careful into burning it a little bit but to no avail. The other side was burnt and I destructed the bump with a screwdriver to release a spring, then I twisted the small part behind it, rotating it in between twists, and it ended up coming out.
When burning plastic always burn far away from your face with the wind going the opposite direction so you don't inhale any fumes, do it outside or next to a window with the right airflow.

Worked like a charm even with the coloring dye present. Be patient when heating the ends. I recommend to be outside. Make sure once it burns that you hold it horizontal so the smoke does not discolor your clothes. You have to take out the spring first before everything become lose. I suggest a pair of long flat pliers and tweezers. Once the plastic burns or is hot enough it is bendable. I suggest to use ducktape to cover one end so you can turn the clothes inside out without staining. The spring is is easy to remove. Once that is out you can just detach the two pieces. For us we also saved the trip to the store. It's a bit annoying when they forget the tags.

You can just pull these apart with pliers. There is no ink inside and it I didn’t damage the garment. Took about 30 seconds.

Thanks - this worked! I'd wondered why I'd been setting shop security alarms off all day: turned out I'd been carrying a security tag around with me. Also, be careful - the tag I removed contained dye capsules.
Maybe their security tag alarm won't work or set up just to scare thieves? 🤔😁

i have the same issue now 😢 but i was worried if i burn maybe will make damage or something in my cloth
I suggest you to burn it where you can access water easily, just in case 😊. The amount of fire is small and controllable, I don't think it will cause a big harm 😉 Burn only on the tag button in both sides and of course not on the fabric 😊 You also could use other methods as well like I mentioned in the video. I personally find burning method is easy and quick way to take it out. Cheers!

What’s happen if liquid is inside the tag?
This type of tag doesn't have liquid, though. I wish I got the liquid type so I could explore how to get it out 🙂
its usually in the long white ones but companies mainly don't use that one because its expensive
